My daughter rides here, and she has had an amazing time! We have been at Zubrod for 4 years, she thrives here! She does academy! The instructors here are amazing! She has made the friends of a life-time, and experienced some amazing horses! We love Zubrod, it is a great place to go! ?

We love it here! My daughter thrives with the excellent instruction. Horses are healthy weights and seem happy. Parents lounge with couch to sit. Award winning instructors. Great atmosphere.

I grew up riding a showing American Saddlebreds, and recently got back into it. Zubrod is a beautifully facility and the people are wonderful! They have welcomed me into their barn with open arms, and after almost two months of riding with them, I have yet to ride the same horse twice, which is awesome! There are always younger kids around, both helping and riding, and everyone makes you feel welcomed. Would highly recommend for both new riders and those wishing to get back in the saddle!

Zubrod Stables is a place to call home. My riding journey began just 5 years ago at this special place. Since then I have had the opportunity to work with the most amazing trainers and instructors, ride horses that I now call my best friends, and meet new people from all around the world. Every moment spent at Zubrod is enjoyable. The people are so welcoming and supportive and you always have a team to cheer you on!

Zubrod Stables is family owned and managed. All student riders are included in all activities and all are treated as family. I can’t say enough positive things about Zubrod Stables. My daughter has grown so much over the last 5 years of riding lessons with instruction from 2 wonderful mentors. Thank you, Sarah and Duveau.

Amazing barn full of wonderful people. They make you feel welcomed and at home. All the horses are a blast to ride. I have watched so many grow from beginners to strong and confident riders. I love going to the barn and you will too!

We did not have a good experience her at this stable. I called about my 6 year granddaughter to be able to come and learn about a horse and be able to ride one. They said it would have to be a lesson and that was fine as I was strongly considering getting her started in lessons as she is a huge animal lover and protector. We arrived and no warm greetings . My granddaughter was helped onto the pony. It was a large pony. After just going up and down the hallway a few times the instructor told her about the reins and how to navigate the horse. The instructor was a little harsh and told her she needed to tell the horse what to do. All of this was a little overwhelming to her and she reacted with some confusion. The instructor had little patience and really did not seem very caring just bellowed out commands to her. When my granddaughter came back up the hallway where I was standing she had tears flowing over her mask and I could tell she was embarrassed. No kind words nor encouragement offered to this little girl at all when the instructor took her off the horse. This experience stuck with her the rest of the day and will always.
After all, I was just a one time client more than likely. This upset me and I texted them the next day and their reply was just as uncaring I got a little lip service by her thanking me for letting them know but then went right into a defense. She said a student that cannot FOLLOW DIRECTIONS is not safe and that their instructors are professional! She then gave me a condescending suggestion to go to the Horse Park in Lexington if she wanted just to ride. GO somewhere else, there are plenty.

my sisters girl scout troop went there and they have a lot of horses and you can take riding lessons and you can compete with horses at the kentucky state fair. they have plenty of learning horses and riding horses. great place!!
