My daughter loved Young Singers. Vielka and her teaching staff are amazing. We took classes from Kindergarten through 5th grade and loved every minute. Vielka worked one on one with my daughter to prepare for school musical and talent show auditions. The yearly recitals are also a great experience for kids. Although my daughter has moved onto other activities in Middle School (orchestra, debate and fencing), Young Singers Academy gave her a great foundation of joy for the arts and confidence in her abilities to do just about anything.

We are so glad to have discovered Young Singers Academy, Vielka Kelly-Weiss, and her team of talented instructors. Our daughter has been working with YSA since her seventh grade, and continues to this day as a rising senior at The LaGuardia High School Of Music, Art, And Performing Arts, where, thanks to YSA’s help in preparing for her initial audition, our daughter was admitted to LaGuardia’s Vocal Studio. As well, under Vielka’s guidance, our daughter prepared her audition for Voice & Opera summer camp at The Interlochen Center For The Arts, was accepted, and is currently attending in this summer of 2024. We could not have done it without Vielka & Young Singers Academy - thank you!

Dear Vielka,

We are so grateful for your loving, compassionate approach toward your coaching of our daughter for the past 7 years. The direct work and preparation you did with our her was key to her acceptance to LaGuardia (and Talent Unlimited, PPAS & waitlist for Frank Sinatra) and last January her audition and acceptance to Interlochen Summer Arts Camp!

Your teaching staff is amazing, and she has always felt comfortable and safe with them. Her most recent work with Charlotte, and now Katelyn has given her more focus, drive, and confidence. She is embracing her vocal challenges and is eager to reach goals in a technical, safe manner. She truly loves singing.

My 7-year old daughter has been having online private singing lesson with Julia for almost a year. Julia is a fun teacher and my daughter loves singing with her. Her singing skills and confidence have improved over time and she loves singing with hand movements. She also loves singing with Vielka when Julia wasn't available.

The perfect gift for anyone - child, teen or adult. My 18 year old daughter started taking lessons from the amazing Julia during Covid and these lessons have not only dramatically improved my daughter's singing it has filled our home with joyous singing. The program is simple to employ, very effective and the teachers are top notch. I am looking forward to starting my own lessons once my daughter heads off to college. I can't say enough great things about this program. Best recipe for bringing joy and fulfillment into anyone's life.

My daughter has never been motivated to practice after voice lessons... until we found YSA! She now practices on her own, as she really resonates with the teaching methods and teachers. My child , 13 y.o., has decided she wants to sing as a career. I enrolled her at Vielka's Young Singers Academy - Audition Prep to help her prepare for the NYC high school vocal programs admissions.

She received offers from her top 2 high school choices and was extremely happy! She also scored high on all the vocal programs in her top 12 choice list.

Her teachers at YSA (Ms. Vielka and Ms Katelyn) are absolutely effective, very supportive, detailed and made a huge difference on her vocal performance. I highly recommend this school for your kids!

We have three daughters currently involved with YSA's online education program. Our experience couldn't be better! All the teachers we have worked with — Gabby, Julia, and Ali — have been kind, inclusive, supportive, educational, and inspiring for the girls. All three girls (6, 11, and 12) look forward to their time in class and continue to sing alone and together in the off hours, practicing their songs and enjoying the expression that comes with it. There are students in their classes from both the US and other countries, which adds some cultural depth to the learning too.
