Jeff Allen, my salesperson went out of his way to do research for me on the weight of the Jeep I purchased to ensure I could tow it safely behind my RV. Although Wiscasset Ford wasn’t the closest to me, I really appreciated the extra effort and zero pressure. I would highly recommend them.

Sadly, this experience with Wiscasset Ford was not at all satisfactory.
I brought my 2020 F-150 in to have the Front Passenger Door Lock Actuator replaced. They had my truck for 4 days, tried selling me $1600 in separate maintenance servicing repairs (brakes, fluids) and then fixed the Driver’s Side Front Door Actuator, which was the wrong side.
I now have to bring my truck back in to have the unrepaired broken actuator fixed properly.
Additionally, the greasy hand prints left behind on the Driver’s Door and Window are unacceptable.

It was a smooth transaction, no haggling, no trips back and forth to the "manager". Just a good old fashion sit down with straight-talk no forced sales strategies/gimmicks. Everybody was pleasant to deal with. I would do it again.

Exceptional car buying experience! (Really? Is there such a thing?). Yes. For starters: David Warford should be a poster child for the Best Car Salesperson in the entire state of Maine. David was calm and professional. No pressure and explained all facts and figures so I could fully understand. I felt he was the kindest man and wanted me to have a perfect fit in my new to me Bronco. (Used and in perfect condition with brand new tires). The entire staff was attentive, professional and friendly. Wiscasset Ford is currently renovating their facility so return visits will be an absolute pleasure with an Elite Cafe to enjoy. Thank you David and Staff. Matt was there to greet me and took all of my information. He was very helpful and took his time explaining the work that was being Done on my 2018 F 150. The backup camera stopped working and I wanted it fixed. Matt took the time to inform me what was going on with the repair. I'm very happy with the quality of the work done and the way I was treated by the repair staff. A1, all of them.

This was my first time going through a dealer for financing and not my bank. I contacted Matt and told him what we were looking for and in no time he sent me information on a vehicle perfect for us. Given it’s only been a week but it had all the right features. After meeting with Matt and signing off I then met with a man John in financing. He attempted to sell me a warranty and several times I asked him if it was extra with the payments or included. John did not give me a straight yes or no answer but instead kept throwing in other details like “Well this will be your payment with the interest included..” and so on. He briefly and quickly went over some numbers and had me sign. After I contacted my bank whom I will be making payment with I realized that John did in fact sell me a warranty and I immediately called him (with no answer). I spoke with others in the same office who had told John to call me whoever he did not. The following Monday I had to come back up to Wiscassett Ford in order to be able to speak with him. Rather then apologizing for the ‘misunderstanding’ he told me that he did in fact explain to me what I was buying. He did not and was not transparent at all about it. What makes me most angry is that I told him exactly what our budget was and what was affordable for us and he did not care. Only wanted to make that sale with the warranty. I want to reiterate again how helpful Matt was and I look forward to doing business with him again sometime. The car is beautiful given it does have some cosmetic defects but other then that it’s just what we needed. Thank you Matt for all your help and quick work with us!!! God Bless!
