My daughter is in kindergarten and I absolutely love this school. I love how their is multiple teachers in the morning making sure my daughter gets in the school gate. I love their energy in the morning high fiveing all the students. My daughter has an amazing teacher Mrs. Patti. I hope I can keep her in this school till she goes to high school.

Put a transfer in for my son to come to this school, the office staff is not friendly, rushing me while I was explaining the situation.. puts our paperwork to the side and says it's up to the principal. It's been 9 days and I've yet to hear back on when my son can start at this school. I've called everyday, they have no timeframe of when I'll hear back. As if I can just keep my son out of school all this time. I'm not Going through with the transfer, if this is how parents are treated, it's terrible. I am involved with my kids education and have always communicated with all school staff..but this school, the office staff will make you decide to go to a different school. 1/2 star if I could. I heard great things of this school, but too bad we didn't get to experience it. On with the next school..

I would give it 0, but it's not an option. West wind is very understaffed, the kids at this school run all over the staff. They provide minimum education, my sons teacher couldn't speak or write with correct grammar. How can I expect him to learn from someone like that?! One teacher was calling this little black girl her slave!!! It's unethical, disgusting treatment from students and staff! The kids are cliqued up and bullies. Girls trying to take inappropriate pictures of each other in the restroom, unbeknownst to the other little girls in there! My daughter got into a fight (defending herself), the teachers didn't even know the fight happened! My daughter had to go to the office and tell the staff. I can't imagine what kind of parents' they have, they act like they're raised by people who don't care about them.

I agree with the bad reviews on the office staff. They are terrible so rude and look like they hate thier job they treat you like they hate you and youre supposed to know what you're asking them. My children just started this year and they hate it my 7th grader has so much homework every day she goes to sleep late and doesn't have a life thanks to all the homework they have one teacher says not to worry if they spend more than 30 minutes but if she doesn't turn it in she gets in trouble. They also have horrible punishments for them I have to wait about 10 more minutes for my 7th grade daughter after the bell rings because of other kids being bad this is so unfair and so inconvenient they need to do something else instead of punishing innocent children. Kids take alcohol and drink at school and don't get punished so what does that say the school doesn't care so kids think it's ok and they can get away with it. My 5th grader was getting bullied stood up for himself one day and got in school suspension it is not fair that they allow bullying teachers and all school staff don't do nothing. My children tell me all the time kids are bad in class and teachers just say welcome to my class. Whenever there's a problem with my children I never get a phone call or a follow up that is so unprofessional. My kids have never gone to a school that was this horrible they come from Littleton School district and although I thought it was bad I can't compare it to this school. My kids hate everything about it. I feel horrible taking them everyday but I've been doing research on a better school and it seems like Arizona in general has horrible schools. Even with food it's a problem my kids get burnt breakfast items and the teachers don't care or report it to anyone the lunch sucks it's worst than what homeless people eat I wish teachers and staff would eat that I'm sure they wouldn't like it. Parents please think twice do your research before bringing your kids here you will regret it save your time and energy your children will be mistreated and hate it and so will you I do not call the office for anything anymore because of their horrible service and they never transfer me to the principal just to the dean that doesn't help either. It seems like easy money they just show up and get over with their day!

The school is great, the principal and the teachers are awesome! , the only thing I don't like is the office administrators . They are not friendly at all ! One of them looks like she hates her job, I don't think I've ever seen them smile.
