My son LOVES to dance, and initially he was not open to joining any dance classes because he felt he would be the only boy and wasn’t sure how comfortable he’d be in a class environment regardless. We went to one class to try it out- and he was hooked! Michelle has diverse classes and makes each kid feel comfortable and confident. She’s wonderful with the kids and it’s so fun to watch her unique teaching style- there are lots of smiles, laughs, and fun, balanced with disciplined learning. The recital was amazing, and she knew how to include and incorporate all of the kids so they were equals through each act.
My son loved the class and couldn’t wait to sign back up the next year. We will be lifelong members going forward!

Michelle is amazing with the kids! My daughter absolutely loves dancing with Miss Michelle and looks forward to her weekly lessons. It's an awesome experience. I would recommend Western Maine Dance Center to anyone of any age.

A fantastic addition to our small town! I danced growing up, but we had to drive 45 minutes once a week for my lessons- having Western Maine Dance Center right here in Kingfield is fantastic! Adding some culture to our community, giving our children something extracurricular to focus on, learning about the discipline of dance- all wonderful things!!

Michelle is a patient and fun teacher; her annual recitals are a joy, and my daughter really loves dance class and the friends she has made there!

(Michelle’s adult classes are also just the right combination of challenging and fun!)

So grateful to have WMDC as part of our community.

Miss Michelle is the best!! We loved being a part of the dance family for the first time this past year and excited to get back in the studio again this fall! Only wish we had found WMDC sooner!! She makes learning dance fun for all ages and we look forward to many more dance seasons ahead with WMDC!!!!

Michelle is a dedicated professional who gives the children of the mountains a creative outlet to learn and move their bodies! She is amazing with the children. The studio is always clean and a comfortable place to wait while the kids learn.

Our grandchildren have taken dance from Western Maine Dance Center for a couple of years now. These dancers learned so much from Miss Michelle. Beyond the dance steps, they learned commitment, fun, laughter and pride in what they learned. Michelle is a treasure and we look forward to the next session.
