My three kids had the opportunity to take lessons this week. This was their first experience on a surfboard and thanks to the expert instruction rendered by their teachers, each was able to get up and balance short rides. The instruction is individualized for each person and you are assigned your own instructor who takes you out and personally works with you. Brian Stoehr who owns this school is a great guy and works with each person during the registration process answering any concerns and keeping the operation running smooth. Ocean City's smaller waves makes for the perfect place to hone your surf riding skills. Mark this one off your bucket list!

My 11 year old grandson had 2 lessons this week with 2 different instructors. Jake and Ethan were top notch and encouraging. The whole operation is run great and everyone has a great surf vibe. Worth every cent, He had a blast. BTW don't forget to tip your instructor. They really appreciate it.

Amazing group of instructors that are the best at what they do. My daughter loved every minute of her lesson. Definitely worth the $99 and we will definitely be back.

First time surfing. Brian the head of the school had great communication morning of as weather was not great but the clouds and rain blew over quickly. My instructor Chris was great. Waves were manageable and by the end I was stand up riding waves to shore. Can't recommend enough!

My fiance and I wanted to cross surfing off our list during vacation but waited until last minute to try booking it (oops). Brian was awesome and kindly fit us into a morning lesson after someone canceled last minute (thank you!!)
We had a blast - both of our instructors were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Even when I kept falling and got discouraged, my instructor was nothing but encouraging and patient, and he got me back up on the board. Amazing experience all around, we'll be back for another lesson!

My son and I had a wonderful surf lesson. The instructors were so patient, helpful, and funny. They really made you feel comfortable even if you were a fit, young kid or an awkward mom who was just trying her best. We had a great time! Next time, we are booking a lesson for every day.

I can’t say enough about this company! Our kids (10& 12) have different comfort levels in the ocean and they are each shown patience, excitement and encouragement from their instructors. Their super fun, professional and knowledgeable staff guided them thorough every step, while also teaching them about rip currents and water safety. 10 out of 10!

I loved my surf lesson (Aug 13; instructor Luke; Owner Brian). It was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done and I will definitely go back for more lessons with these guys. They were very professional, personable and patient. You could tell they all really love their job and they wanted to be there. They called the day before to confirm and advise of any possible weather or surf issues. They even had little kids surfing in no time. I've always wanted to take a surf lesson and it was even better than I thought it would be with Wave Riding School. I can't wait for my next lesson. I’m definitely hooked now!
