I’m writing to express my disappointment with the unprofessional service I experienced at Watermark Ford in Madisonville, Kentucky, and to raise concerns about their $150 diagnostic fee for recalls, which other Ford dealerships do not charge.

When I arrived at the Services Department, the man behind the desk ignored me and continued a personal conversation with his colleague or buddy, despite clearly seeing me waiting. Eventually, a young lady seated at a computer asked if I needed assistance. I explained the issue and showed her the recall notice, but she seemed confused. Shortly after, another lady (long brown hair) came behind the counter and stated that it would cost $150 to diagnose my 2014 Ford Focus before they could proceed with the recall. She also informed me it would take three weeks to schedule an appointment.
This level of service is unacceptable, and the fee for diagnosing a recall issue is inconsistent with other Ford dealerships that do not charge customers for recall-related diagnostics. I would appreciate an explanation for this policy and expect better professionalism in the future. Same day that afternoon, I went to Kate Faupel Ford and they able give an appointment with no charge for any diagnostics charges of 150.00. That same afternoon, I visited Kate Faupel Ford, and they were able to schedule an appointment for me without charging the standard $150 diagnostic fee. I asked them about 150.00 fee and they advised me there is no such a thing. ...thank you.

Service Department at Watermark Ford and Watermark Nissan is always convenient, prompt, courteous, reasonable, helpful, and I trust them to provide quality service at a decent price. I like supporting local businesses, and want to keep Watermark in our small town. Service advisor Emily was very helpful. I easily made my appointment on the website. The whole process was a streamlined, and they all seemed to know what they were doing. Outside and inside areas were clean and neat. Comfortable waiting area is very near Service department. TOMMY TOMMY he is your man, if no one can do it TOMMY can. Or just go see Tommy Prather first and avoid all that rejection, stress, and hassle. This was my best experience at a car dealership ever. I definitely recommend Watermark Ford/Nissan. You walk in a customer and walk out like family hugging and the Lord had Tommy Prather pray before we left. Calling this place a business doesn't due it justice. Its 100% family
