My 13 year old was a first grader when Washington Dual Language Academy began it's dual language program. Who would have thought that the district would allow them to continue at Washington even as middle school students. Unfortunately due to work I had to transfer him out to our home school and was not able to place him back once my schedule was better at work. I now have my four year old in the program and if I would be given the opportunity my 7 and 13 year old would also attend. The culture and community in this school make me feel welcome and my children safe. Excellent teachers work here. This is our first year back after a long time. I'm happy to see things have only gotten better. I'm excited for my daughter's future at WDLA.

My daughter just transferred to this school! I think the program ( Dual Language) they are offering is great. Kids should be prepared for their future, because lets admit Spanish will be the second language in this country. I think what Mrs Vasquez and her staff are trying to do shows how much she cares for these kids futures. My class will be the first class to graduate from Washington Dual Academy.

The school my children could of attend . They teach Pre k to 8th grade which is amazing . So May schools in the district separates them by ages and some kids attend 3-4 school .
I’m glad we came across this program . My 6 year old and 4 year have benefited so much . They can fluently speak and understand and write Spanish no problem . It’s amazing how much these teachers teach our children . I do as much as we can at home speaking it but most of it is from school . I’m so grateful . Knowing a second language it’s a blessing . I love it and I have so many people wish they had this program.

This school gave me the hardest time trying to enroll my second grader, I’ve waited almost 3 weeks now just to hear my daughter can’t go to or don’t even qualify to go to the school. Very Inconsiderate and staff members who are registering the students are giving out false information. I have been getting the runaround for three weeks being told to call the district to call the school again to get names of the people who are given a false information, this was such a headache. Now I’m looking for a dual language school they accept New second grade students.
