Beautiful building. Sound in the performance hall was clean and sounded great. Pretty nice that they even had the game on a big screen and chairs as parents waited. One concern I noticed, was that we were to enter the building through a side door, that led immediately to stairs. I can manage fine, but how would someone with any disability affecting their ability to walk or climb stairs? A wheelchair could never enter the building from what I could see.

We went to a performance of the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee Youth Ensemble at this assembly hall. My grandson Alex from Germantown High School plays the base trombone and tried out for a seat last fall and was selected. He made weekly trips to Milwaukee to practice with other students. The experience he had has opened a door to unexpected delight and self-confidence. He has had the opportunity to work with other students from throughout the state and be mentored by the adult teachers & band leaders. It has given him newfound confidence & a love of music that he'll pursue his whole life.

Nice venue with good sound but badly needs updating. Seats are very small. I'm a bigger person but definitely not extraordinarily large and do not fit well in them. Once seated you can't move side to side and if you're tall you'll have a problem with your knees hitting the seats ahead of you. I either sit in the front row or on the benches in the back.

We went her for the Women In Worship Conference. I'm a guy who happen to be volunteering, that conference was so Good, I kept peaking my head in to see what they were doing. during worship I abandoned my post, and went to worship with them. Pastor Melva is truly dynamic.
