My daughter has been dancing there for about eight years. She loves it there. The teachers are great and fun and make the kids want to come back. They make wonderful choices in music and costumes and they have an abilities to pull the kids in and help them bond with each other. Rather your child is intermediate or has amazing skills they have a class for everyone in every dance it is truly an amazing place.

My daughter has danced before with another company and I was not pleased which is why we made the switch to Upstage Dance Center. I cannot say enough good things about this company and their employees. Upstage has quickly turned into a second home for my daughter and she loves being there. The staff is wonderful and go above and beyond what they are expected to do...They have even called to remind me of certain dates and times when my mom brain kicks in and I forget. My daughter has improved tremendously in her dance skills and I cannot wait to see how far she can go! I would recommend Upstage Dance Center to anyone looking for a dance school!

My daughter has danced at udc for 14 years. In that time she has participated in recreational dance and competitive dance. Wonderful caring and knowledgeable instructors that help develop and push child to be the best dancer they can. Along the way teaching my child the value of working as a team player and sportsmanship. The studio also provides many wonderful opportunities for children who might think that they would want a career in dance some day.

My daughter is finishing her 10th season taking recreational dance here. She loves it, and we've already signed up for season 11. One of the biggest reasons she loves this place is that she does not have a classical dancer's body, and she's never been shamed for it at this studio (that's not the case at the two we tried before this one). Instead, her teachers (Ms. Leah for the last several years) recognize her strengths and use them in the choreography to make sure that she can participate in beautiful dances each recital. She's taken combo (tap/ballet), tumbling, and musical theater. She's grown as a dancer and performer, and she's made lifelong friends. And while this studio does have competition teams (who I've seen perform outstandingly), there's been no pressure ever to do more, take more, pay more--recreational and competition students both receive attention and care, and that doesn't waiver based on skill level or number of classes--I can't stress enough how different that attitude is compared to other studios we tried. This is a teaching studio rather than a "coaching" one--by that I mean, anyone can stand in as a coach for a natural talent. Not everyone can teach skills and love for an activity to those who aren't going pro. My daughter is a beautiful, animated dancer, and I love to see her do something she enjoys. This place gave/gives her that. And I know this is already too long for a Google review, but I'd like to end with just saying that only twice in 10 years have I ever had concerns, and both times, Ms. Lindsey (the owner) responded immediately and appropriately. She truly has the best interests of the students in heart and mind.

We have loved our time at Upstage. The teachers and other staff are wonderful and helpful. As a recreational dancer we are treated like part of a family, and we can’t wait to see how that continues to grow as my daughter grows with the Company. My daughter has learned a ton and grown tremendously as a dancer in her short 4 years!!

My daughter has been dancing here for 5 years and has grown so much during that time. The dance instructors are very kind and nice as well as the owner of the business. The students practice all year and then have recitals that are performed in front of friends and family which is a great experience for them. Highly recommend this place if you have a child wanting to dance.

I can’t rave about this studio more. The coaches don’t only teach my daughter dance but instill life lessons that she needs everyday. This year has not been easy but because of the heart and determination of Lindsey and other coaches, the team thrived. The growth my daughter has shown is amazing, not only in her dance artistry but her confidence and work ethic. I am so proud to be apart of this studio, UDC dance family.

My daughter has been dancing at Upstage for 7, almost 8 years now. She absolutely loves it. The instructors and staff are so friendly, welcoming, patient, and are very skilled in what they do. The recitals are nothing short of exciting and impressive. You will not be disappointed.
