It’s hard to put in words what I experienced at Tumfo Tu Movement Masters. It was unlike any class I had ever participated in before, but in short, It was mind blowing!!! During my first visit there, where I thought was going to observe the class, the way the instructors ran the class, I ended fully participating in it, and ended up leaving with a lifetime of lessons. I’ve never experienced anything like this before in any philosophy class or self-protection class in my lifetime. Upon waking this morning, I wanted more! What I experienced last night followed me as I followed it, easily into the next day which is today! The experience was surreal. The information being shared by the instructors in this class is valuable to all, no matter your age, gender identification, race…etc and this class should be mandatory elementary/middle school classroom curriculum. The knowledge shared here is something all should know and experience for themselves. One famous philosopher once said “know thyself and in doing so, you shall come to know all of the gods of the universe. Both ancient and contemporary knowledge of self and self-protection are available and found in this class.

Tumfo Tu is not just about learning about powerful movement. It helps you build a community with others and helps you along to a journey of peace. The instructors allow you to have a safe place to allow your emotions to flow through for release. It is not only a community; it is a family. I am so grateful for this experience. I really enjoyed my time at Tumfo tu. The instructors were so helpful and it really felt like family. Being older and having had knee surgery, I didn’t have a lot of confidence to begin with, but they helped me work through my knee issues and eventually I was even able to resume hiking. I credit them with that accomplishment. Something else I appreciated was the focus on self-defense. I really want my kids to be safe and believe their time at Tumfo tu have given them the tools they need to defend themselves.

Tumfo Tu is a life changing discipline with amazing instructors! I had looked into multiple disciplines before Tumfo Tu but never joined because the energy wasn’t right. Tumfo Tu is a family and they embrace you from the first time you observe a class and continue every single day throughout your journey with the discipline. What they teach goes beyond the classroom and helps in every day life and I am thankful to have found them!

We first came in to get our daughter trained but quickly found out this was for all of us. It’s not just the training but the principles behind it. The instructors really care about you and your welfare and everyone is treated like family. You’ll learn not only to control your movements but your emotions as well. In this world we live in it’s always great to have teaching, training and tough love to enhance your skills to protect yourself and your family.

I'm not going to say the martial arts training I've received in the Tumfo Tu discipline can solve all my problems, but I will say that in 5 years of training, there hasn't been ONE problem I haven't solved using the principles, philosophy and lessons I learned from Tumfo Tu at Movement Masters. I've been through job losses, an eviction, a career change, dealt with multiple hostile/violent situations and a few heart breaks the past 5 years, and I can say without a doubt, the training I've received in Tumfo Tu gave me the tools to handle everything life threw at me with a powerful mindset, determination and confidence.

The Tumfo Tu discipline has given me a level of emotional control that allows me to center and ground myself no matter what happens and find peace in any moment. The discipline has provided me with mental toughness to get through hard times, as well as intense physical conditioning that gives me the stamina to get through the day-to-day grind and the ability to protect myself and family.

On top of all this, I have forged several fulfilling friendships and gained an amazingsupport system that includes a great group of instructors and students.

I highly recommend the Tumfo Tu discipline at Movement Masters to anyone looking to level up in any facet of their life.

It’s very family oriented myself, son and wife attend I have never seen such a powerful art before anyone can do it at any age. Instructor Imana and Instructor Robert excellent at making it simple and work.
I wish everyone would join let’s change Colorado to a powerful family place.
