I met Triangulo thanks to a friend who has been attending Carina's lessons for some time.
Since I'm staying for a few weeks to then return to Italy, my idea was to go to a maximum of 2 lessons and instead I found myself attending him for several days a week, in a beautiful environment where I appreciated the undisputed professionalism of Carina, always careful to correct, advise and encourage the participants.
It has never happened to me before to find such a high level teacher.
The school is also attended by very pleasant people, with whom a bond of complicity and friendship has been created, all of which makes Triangulo a strongly recommended reality.

What can i say this place won my heart since day one.
I took tango classes with Carina and her partner for a couple of months now and i just love it, they are AMAZING!!! They care for every single one of the students and the class keeps getting bigger every week which makes it even more fun. What makes me go back there is that i see progress in my dancing. The atmosphere is energetic just what i need after a very long day/week. They offer drinks and snacks. The receptionist is very nice and welcoming. As for the place itself is pretty clean all the time.

I tried to take tango classes with Ana and Diego, but my experience was negative. These instructors need classes in customer service. I missed the beginner's class because my partner arrived late. I thought, that's okay I'll just take the next class, which was an intermediate class. At first, I was encouraged to dance by Diego, then he quickly decides my partner and I should leave the class because this is an "advanced class". We ask why? He says, well how would you feel if you signed up for intermediate and now you have to dance with a beginner? He said, the "problem" is we rotate dancers. I say, okay so we will not rotate, but this jerk wouldn't have it. He insisted we leave. Not very nice considering many of the other people in the intermediate class were left over from the basic class, and really were not too good either. I mean, the experience is supposes to be pleasant right? My conclusion - this guy or instructor couple is very insecure and immature. My partner and I left before we could get a lesson, they returned our money, then the "real owner" of the Triangulo dance studio comes out and apologizes once they learn my partner is a professional dancer and instructor. I didn't say anything, just thanked her and left. I'm a professional. I am both a lawyer and engineer, and I have owned and managed many businesses, and I have to say that I would never tolerate such lack of customer service and unprofessional behavior. Thus, Triangulo has lost my interest and business alike. Will not return. Good luck running a business so poorly. Hire some class, not insecure jerks! Nobody likes an insecure jerk. As I said, dancing is supposed to be pleasurable.

Triangulo is a school where you can learn the fun and lovely Argentine Tango while meeting and dancing with friendly people. The teachers are welcoming, patient, and attentive, having the attitude of “there are no stupid questions”, and they are encouraging even to those who have “two left feet.”

During class, instructors will often provide personal tips to individuals to improve or correct their form, sometimes going so far as attaching ankle weights to correct bouncy students (Me, never!) or tying them together to learn to dance in close space. Such creative approaches can make points in ways that are more fun and impactful than straightforward instruction. Other students are happy to help during practices, and private instruction is available if you want to really drill down and perfect your technique.

You should know that Argentine Tango actually consists of three main forms: “tango”, “milonga” & “vals” (waltz). Triangulo offers instruction in all three, every week, which makes it stand out from other schools. This is important because at social tango dances music for all three forms is played, so having exposure to each variation will avoid your being left out of a dance not knowing what to do. Being able to dance waltz weekly beats occasional workshops.

I highly recommend the “Intensive” series (Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced) which include instruction in multiple forms of tango. The classes provide time afterwards to practice what you’ve learned. This is important for getting better - practice is what gets the movements into your body.

Speaking of which, the school has dedicated weekly sessions to gather with classmates and outside dancers to practice what you’ve learned and try new things, and also regular social gatherings to meet and dance at.

Tango dancing is a great way to get your body moving, meet new people, and escape the grind of everyday life. Triangulo is a place where you can learn in a friendly, supportive, social environment, with lots of opportunity to practice what you learn to get better quickly. Go dance and have fun!

Triangulo is the best place to learn and get better at tango in NYC. I have gone to many classes there. There are classes for all different levels and a practica after the class. The studio is beautiful, people are super friendly and Carina is an amazing teacher.

This place actually made my heart melt. It was so cute and I learned so much it was an amazing learning environment. With knowledgeable teachers, clean fancy cute and homey all at the same time. Everyone was comforting and respectful of each others body’s. Such a great place!
