Until last year, i was going to this shop for anything just because i liked how it was cheaper than the nearby competitors and owner was a straight forward guy.

Last year he put a battery to on my honda crv. He said don’t worry i can get an original battery from the Honda parts in Hyannis and showed me the calander from honda and contact information of Hyannis Jonda and said look we work with them. I said great and it was either 250$ or 300$ if i pay cash He would make it flat as he told me. I accepted and knowing that he was my friend at that point.

I started having a problem with electrical in my car again recently . it didn’t start sometimes and need a jump start when it happens. So i moved back around and obviously wanted to check with my trusted mechanic but He said i never worked with your battery before. I couldn’t prove him that neither bc it was cash transaction and had a big faith. but even back then i was suspicious about the battery and asked him if he really put a battery bc this one don’t look like brand new. And he showed me another honda battery. I said ok.

when i visited for checking the battery again, He showed me previous transactions of mine and they were all paid by CC. So he wants me to accept whatever he said. i sent him people and customers for services bc i thought he was a great guy.

Now I see, my cash payment disappeared in the air and if i had a receipt. I also lost my wallet last year so i usually kept my important receipts and papers in it so all has gone. No proof left. And He also said he doesn’t ever put honda parts. how accurate its who knows.

I am disappointed and would not suggest anyone to get service here as i got hurt from the last experience!

We were on our way to visit family and our car broke down in rhode island with a flat. We had to get towed all the way to Mass. The following morning we started working off the lugs to fix the tire (we work in auto repair ourselves), but we just didnt have the tools being so far from home. Granny recommended Town Auto, and I'm so glad she did. We called ahead, they said have it towed right down and confirmed they had a tire in stock. They had it done in an hour on what was clearly a busy Saturday! Price was totally reasonable. Amazing customer service and great quality work. They were even able to get the cap stripped lug off that was sort of seized in there. Very impressed! Highly recommended.
