Nice view of the Ohio River after a short walk-up. But, view is not too different from Cave-in Rock. One benefit, you most likely will be along

Nice little hike to a great look out of the Ohio River. The hike is uphill but not that long and worth it for the view

The directions arent very clear. They take you to the boat launch. There arent any noticable signs for the trailhead. There also isnt parking for say....cars. There is a very muddy area that looks to be a turn around point for people coming and going to the boat launch. We ended up just parking on the side of the road as we were concerned about getting stuck. That's my only reason for 4🌟 instead of 5. Luckily I have All Trails and a hint of cell service an was able to get it to pick up my GPS. We found the trail head and took the path up. Easy walk up. The overlook area was clean and high enough you didn't feel like you would fall off. My only issue is that the trail actually goes on passed that and there is no railing whatsoever. The highest point is passed the overlook area and the trail goes very close to the edge. This trail pops up as somewhere to hike with kids and I feel like that's misleading. But to each their own! The views are beautiful and worth the walk even on rainy days. Will definitely come back again so my daredevil husband can keep tempting fate. 🤦

Very nice view of the Ohio River even though all trails says the trail goes beyond the fenced ook out, don't bother. You have seen the pinnacle

A less busy site. Had a great camping experience here. Lots of barges coming through so maybe skip it if you're a light sleeper. Nice view from the bluff, and easy hike up the hill.

It was so amazing walking across the dry Mississippi River bed to reach Tower Rock! I used the rope to climb to the top! It was a fantastic view, and an enjoyable day.
