Doug is such a wonderful teacher! My daughter needed him to be a mentor for her senior capstone project. I am so glad we found him! He was so understanding and accommodating with exactly what she wanted to accomplish. He was very patient and explained everything to her during the entire process. Doug genuinely cares for his students and with a lot of love for music. He has many years of experience and knowledge in teaching music, also very friendly, kind and professional. I highly recommend him for any level or age group in music training.

Both of my sons have taken lessons with Doug (guitar, piano, voice) over the past 4 years. Currently my youngest takes Voice. Doug has a great rapport with them and makes them feel very comfortable and confident in their progress. They really enjoy their lessons and music as a result. Doug has been exceptional at teaching my sons Piano and Guitar. He is able to relate to them individually so they are not only learning their instruments, but growing a passion for music. You don't get that at other music classes. You will see progress when you go to his classes. Doug is a wonderful teacher. He came highly recommended, and I highly recommend him.

I’ve been going to Doug for about 3 months now and I’ve been improving a ton! I’m confident he would be able to adapt to a bunch of different learning styles. He lets you choose whatever music you want to learn and studies it even when you’re no there to make sure he knows what he is talking about. Going into my first lesson I was nervous as I had barely played guitar and had never gone to a music lesson, but looking back I had no reason to be worried! Doug has been extremely kind and patient with me as I’ve been improving. I highly recommend!

My older son (10yo) has been taking guitar lessons from Doug for 2 years and my younger son (7yo) just started with the drums. Doug is very knowledgeable, but able to talk to the kids in a way they can learn from him. He is always willing to help in anyway he can. I like that he knows how to keep the boys interested and engaged in what they are learning, so they want to keep coming back for more. Thank you for all you do to help keep music in our family.

Really enjoyed my time learning music here. Took drumming and guitar lessons and it's been great. The instructor is cool and helpful. Definitely recommend if you're looking to learn music in a relaxed setting!
