This place is absolutely exceptional. Everything is on point, as is the owner of the studio. We rented it for a dinner party and had one of the best nights of our life and so did our friends. The place has everything you would need to host a lit party, refrigerators, chillers, tables, chairs, ask for it they have it. Great lighting and sound system too and Jeff is an amazing guy and extremely easy to work with. Definitely would recommend this place for events.

Excellent venue! I hosted my graduation party here and could not have been more pleased with the space and the Throop team. The table and chair rentals were high quality and all set up upon arrival. Plenty of other tables in the space for serving food or appetizers. Dock in back makes unloading convenient and easy. Jeff and the onsite manager Nadia were a pleasure to work with and very helpful throughout the entire process. Will be utilizing this space again in the future highly recommend!

A great space for a photo shoot. I’ve worked at Throop a handful of times for tabletop food photography. It’s been a great experience overall. There’s plenty of space for two sets, a comfortable client area, well equipped kitchen and overflow area. For a small fee you can have access to the prop room as well and I’d recommend hiring Lindsey, resident prop stylist, to help style your next job.

Such a great space for content creation! The studio has different areas that can be used to record videos, including a very nice kitchen and a larger area for larger groups. The manager was super nice to our group and we had a very nice experience overall.

Throop studio is a photo, video and event rental space that is located in Chicago's West Town neighborhood. It offers two shooting Bays, a client space, and a private office. Amenities include a full kitchen with 6 burner commercial gas range a full bath with walk-in shower and hair and makeup area with multiple countertops and designated sink.

They also offer access to basic grip gear and a prop shop as well as a large open conference area and private office.

From baby showers to business meetings, photo to video shoots, Throop studio is top notch.
