Can I just say, what an amazing business! I have known Amanda for a few years now and her work, craftwomanship (did you catch that 😊) and ability to create some amazing projects and teach others how to sew...I love it! I grew up with my Mom being a phenomenal seamstress and Amanda is the first woman I've know outside of my mom who makes it look easy. She is kind, cool, calm, and collected and a beautiful person. You HAVE TO check her out!!! Have some fun. Learn to sew! Or create a new sewing project. Take a class. Send your child. Send your grandbabies. Enjoy! Thank me later! 😉

I was having trouble with my new sewing machine and wanted someone to teach me how to use it, so I signed up for a private lesson with Amanda at Three Door Studio (a.k.a. “The Studio” on their website or “The Studio Bakersfield” on Instagram). I’ve had some experience sewing before, but Amanda was AWESOME! 🤩 I brought my sewing machine and she helped me figure out what the problem was, and taught me things I never knew about! She holds private and group lessons for adults and children of all experience levels, and even offers lessons on select evenings and weekends. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend her! I would absolutely love to take another lesson with her again one day. 🧵🪡

But if sewing isn’t your thing, they also offer Oil Painting 🖼️🎨 and Art Journaling 📖🖌️ lessons under their cute, little studio roof. And as a bonus (or maybe as a heads up if you’re allergic), they have the sweetest kitty and small doggy manning the fort! 🥰 🐈‍⬛🐶

Absolutely love working with Amanda! I’m a sewing newb and Amanda walked me through the process of setting up the machine and creating good habits for sewing. During my second session I learned how to measure/cut/iron/pin/sew the hem on a pair of jeans that I bought (but haven’t worn) two years ago. This class is going to be a game changer for my entire wardrobe and I cannot wait until we start sewing new projects, too! Thanks, Amanda!
