When my at-the-time fiance and I picked our first dance song as Merry-Go-Round of Life from 'Howl's Moving Castle' we knew we wanted to bring the same magic and wonder of the music to our dance but neither of us knew how to dance at all. We came to The Ritz Ballroom Dance Studio for a consultation and we knew immediately that this was the place for us.

Karen taught us the basics a few waltz steps in that first session then we booked a package of private sessions. From there Bree worked with us to create choreography for us to fit the song. She was amazing at creating a great routine and always made sure it was things we were comfortable with. They were also great about working with our schedule to fit lessons in on a tight timeline.

Karen and Bree are both excellent teachers, they both know how to pace the learning for each dancer so that we didn't feel rushed and we took the time that was needed on steps that we were struggling with. As we learned more of the routine they helped us fine tune everything to make the dance look even better.

By the time of our wedding we were so nervous about nailing every move to the choreography that we fell in love with and hitting every cue in the music. But once the music started it felt so smooth and we weren't even thinking about the dance steps or the people around us, we were just dancing with each other and enjoying the moment. That was thanks to Bree and Karen and the wonderful work they do.

Everyone at the wedding gave us rave reviews on the dance and we told them all that we could not have done it without The Ritz Ballroom Dance Studio. My wife and I look forward to attending more classes because we know they have a way of making learning a new dance you know nothing about a fun and memorable experience.

Talk about fun!!! Went to the studio on Friday night and they had their weekly party. Latin music, line dancing and ballroom. Tons of people and partners to dance with. I got to take a class o. West coast swing and then the party let us practice swing and lots of other dances. Bree the teacher makes it fun and so easy to follow. Fun and fit…great way to spend a Friday night. I highly recommend whether you’re single or a couple.

If you are looking for a great dance studio I highly recommend the Ritz Ballroom Dance Studio. The instructors are amazing and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. They teach all ages, for all occasions. The special events they hold are fun and I look forward every year to go to the holiday events. I also take Bree’s line dancing class at Shiners on Wednesdays and I have the best time.

It was easy to call and set up lessons. They are super flexible with scheduling and offer private lessons as well as group classes. I took private West Coast Swing lessons with Bree (no partner required.) She's so friendly and meets you at your skill level. I've also attended a few line dance classes on Saturdays - so fun! Definitely recommend.

I couldn’t recommend The Ritz Ballroom more! Bree and Karen choreographed our first dance for our wedding. We’re both beginners and they walked us through every step, literally.
