Eric recently did an overhaul on my newly purchased 1951 Haynes flute. It needed quite a bit of work, maybe more than he originally thought but he stayed within his estimate which I appreciated. I am so happy with how it sounds now. Just look at this beauty!

I recently received an overhaul of my Roy Seaman Limited piccolo and Eric did a superb job with the overhaul. Despite being almost 20 years old now, it looks brand new. His skill in doing the overhaul is totally evident - the mechanism plays so easily and everything was adjusted to play so well - it plays as well as if not better than a brand new piccolo. The response is great and it's a joy to play the instrument again. He also changed to Straubinger pads. Eric was very congenial to work with and completed the work promptly. His rates are very reasonable, especially given his high skill level. I highly recommend Eric's work!

Eric has now worked on three of my instruments. He made my flute play REALLY well with a careful COA 10 years post-overhaul. He overhauled my piccolo which now plays beautifully (perhaps better than it did when new) and looks as shiny as it did 18 years ago. And, he overhauled an Eb flute that I own. Eb flutes are generally not high quality instruments, but he made it play well & it's so shiny now! He might see my alto flute next . . . Strongly recommend Eric for any of your flute repair needs!

I got my wife a flute for Valentine's Day, but it was not working properly. I took it to Eric (AKA The Flute Whisperer) for repair, and he told me that it was beyond repair, that the repair would cost more than a new flute. He then found another flute for sale for me. I offered to pay him for his work, but he refused payment. So yes, 5 stars all around. If I ever do need a flute repaired, The Flute Whisperer will be my first choice!

I bought a old flute from a very elderly man and promised I will take a very good care of it. It was his daughter's flute and the flute was sitting in the box for 25-30 years. The flute has good sound, but some pads had server leakage and some mechanial issues. Eric overhauled this flute. Not only it looks like new, the sound is so much better than before and so beautiful sound. Eric is super friendly, and quick response. I am so appreciated him bring back this flute back to life and her beautiful sound. And also so happy that I keep my promise 🙂
