I also want to give a shout out to coach Emma Turner! Her patience, sincere guidance, and cheerful laugh have motivated me to keep learning this new 'language', and to enjoy every moment I spend with my ukulele!

And make sure you check out everything that the Davis Academy of Music has to offer - the make-up classes are amazing and the store offers a wide variety of instruments and training books, live music in the events center, and co-working space rentals.

I am EXTREMELY happy to have The Davis Academy of Music in Bloomington! The new space is great and it has such a nice atmosphere. It makes you feel excited about learning music!

I have been doing the Sip & Sing classes there for almost a year and it has been such a joyful way of learning music. Because my experience there was so great, I wanted to finally check off a bucket-list item: have private singing lessons! And I'm really glad I did.

Recently, I started taking private singing lessons with Emily Davis and it has been amazing. She is so knowledgeable and kind. These past few months she has been able to unlock so much potential in voice! I have been learning so much about my voice and how to utilize it. I have much more freedom (and some vibrato is finally coming out) and my sound is much better. She has done a great job at assessing my voice, providing the proper training, giving me proper repertoire, and creating a plan for me to achieve my vocal goals. All of that while making the experience very enjoyable!

I highly recommend The Davis Academy of Music to anyone interested in music lessons.
