I love being able to jump on their website at the last second when I get an audition and book a self tape directly--but it's also nice that I can just email if I don't see a time that works for me and they're always so cool about trying to help me find a coach and time that works. I love The AFA Studio! I am actor and I have been taking acting classes with them for almost two years now and let me tell you: I have grown as an actor and I have learned a ton! Now I feel prepared and confident, not only the AFA studio teaches you how to get the job but also how to do the job. Also, I love that we learn and do audition techniques, camera work, footage, improv, voice over, and so much more. All the teachers are patient and professional! I can’t recommend AFA enough!!! All the coaches are amazing and so experienced. I have been acting since I was 14 and majored in theatre in college. I have taken other film and tv acting classes in LA but learned things at AFA that I have never learned anywhere else! They teach you very practical things that you can apply to your work that will help you improve immediately when implemented. They cover every genre and I feel so much more confident in my self tape auditions now. I have even been able to help coach other actor friends of mine when they need help with the tools that AFA has taught me! I have been taking weekly classes at AFA for going on 3 years now and still constantly growing in my craft. I love AFA! This studio is like family to me now. They are a safe space and care about you as a person too. I am so very grateful I found my acting studio home. The BEST!!!

I've been in Los Angeles for about 13 years, and this place is without a doubt the best acting studio I've been to (and I've been to quite a few). Abbie and Chelsea are two of the hardest working people in the biz. Keyword: WORKING! Stop going to acting schools taught by old white dudes no longer in the industry, or retired former actors turned casting directors turned teacher. Learn from two people actively booking things!

Abbie and Chelsea (and occasional guests) have different styles of acting/teaching they prefer, so you get a nice mix of different ideas to find what works for you. And at ridiculously great prices compared to other places! And best of all, the community you gain at AFA is priceless.

Overall, they've got the skills, they want to see you succeed, it's affordable, and both their personal successes and student successes will speak for themselves when you check them out.
