This winter I joined The Acting Studio family and completed the Intro to Meisner class with Ravin Patterson. This class reinvigorated my love for acting. Ravin’s teaching style was always encouraging yet her clear instruction and honest feedback kept us accountable to each other and the process. She helped us grasp the foundation and then she and James taught us how to apply the approach in our scenes. I look forward to my next experience there.

Matt, in particular, is a fantastic teacher. He always gives thoughtful feedback and stays enthusiastic, which makes the class really engaging. I attended the first level of Meisner Technique in Rome with James Price. It was an amazing experience, I learned a lot of incredible things about acting and especially about myself and some habits that I have during my performances. James is a super teacher and a wonderful person. You really can discover some magical tools for your acting practice. I really hope that it was just the beginning for me and I can't wait to know more about this technique. Strongly recommended.

I trained under James Price, Director of The Acting Studio and absolutely adored my time with him there. As an actress and a proud Meisner Technique one (!) I credit James for all of the solid work I was able to uncover there and deliver in my acting career today.
