I’ve been a life long resident and when I was a kid, Symphony Music was the place for all of us to go. Now at 58 I want to learn guitar and stopped in today. Neil is an amazing owner. They are welcoming, understanding, patient and knowledgeable. No sales push at all. They are all committed to making you a success in your music journey no matter where you are in it. Symphony Music is one of those places that every healthy community needs. Music and the arts are essential and Symphony is that essential place for music for all of us. Bob Williamson and his family have created a special place. Hundreds of folks (young and not so young) have a place to learn about music. Does your instrument need some care and feeding? Symphony is the place to start. Need strings? Great selection to choose from. Want/need a new instrument? From entry level to stunning elder instruments and amps are there on consignment (which gives us all a excuse to go over to the shop to see what’s new). And then there the folks who work there . . . they are the folks you get to know, the same generous with their time people that have been there for a while. Every community needs a place like this – Symphony Music is ours.

Our family traveled to town for our grandfather’s funeral. The family wanted me to accompany in the special number for the service. With my own violin currently out of commission, I needed to borrow a violin rental only for a couple days for the service. Neil so graciously accommodated our needs and we are so grateful to Symphony Music Shop for extending their services for my family. We had the chance to look around the shop and they have a great selection of instruments! Upon returning the violin, Neil checked the violin so it was returned in the condition it was given. He had told us to wait there as he was getting something for us. I thought it was paperwork or something to finalize the return. But he then gifted me a cute mug with the Symphony Music Shop logo! The generosity these people have is through the roof! Go support Symphony Music Shop! We highly recommend them. You will never get this sort of kindness from anybody online.

I was in the area from out of town when the octave key on my saxophone stopped working. Bob was kind enough to let me come in after hours and had it fixed before I had to leave town the next day. The repair work was high quality. In general it seems like a great store with friendly knowledgeable people working there.
