Candle Making Class

-The bottomless drinks were barely "bottomless." You only get about three to four glasses, the servers took a long time to come around for refills.

-We had to wait an hour for them to set everything up, even though we arrived on time at 7:30.

-The instructor was very kind, but unfortunately, there was a lack of guidance throughout the class. I believe the woman leading the session wasn’t the actual instructor.

This is just my personal opinion, but overall, I really enjoyed the candles – I loved how ours turned out. The atmosphere was friendly, and everyone was kind. However, I was quite disappointed by the lack of structure in the class. It would have been great if someone had led the session with clear, step-by-step instructions, guiding everyone through each phase of the process. Instead, the instructor placed materials on the tables, and people ended up pouring the wax too early or placing the wicks incorrectly, simply because no one was told when to wait or what to do next. Unfortunately, it felt like we had to figure everything out on our own.

Personally, I don't think I would return to this location, as it didn’t feel worth the price. I’m sure they offer other great classes, possibly with a more structured approach, but maybe we just happened to visit on an off night.

Everything was phenomenal!! The lady working the front and serving tables was INCREDIBLE!!!!! And the wings were amazing! Hookah seemed fresh! And drinks were soooo cute! Would totally come back

False advertising and terrible management. Came here for a well advertised pottery class. Instructor was super nice - and that’s the only positive I have. You get modeling clay (like the kind in kindergarten). No kiln and no spinning molders. No real clay to actually make lasting pottery. Owner was very rude and tried to move us into a small room to make space for a fight he sold the rooftop to. He was unapologetic despite the class being advertised and sold as a sunset rooftop experience. Waste of time and money.

I used to love the karaoke brunch and the karaoke on Tuesdays but the hosts that I know aren’t there anymore I guess. Karaoke just wasn’t the same this past Sunday with the new DJ and I was hoping to catch the other hosts when I went back on Tuesday but both days they weren’t there. Such a bummer. I really enjoyed their energy. I almost never sing at karaoke but something about them made me really comfortable. They made it feel like a family environment and like I was singing with friends instead of strangers. I probably won’t be back to karaoke at Sunset Rooftop.

Came here late night (around 2am) on a Sunday so it was pretty empty, but the vibe was still great. We got into the VIP section which you have to pay extra for, but it's worth it. In that section, they have board games like jenga, a DJ, and even karaoke on certain nights. The hookah was great - good options and well attended by staff. The food was like typical bar food, but was good. My friends and I ordered the margarita purse to share. It was hard for the 3 of us to finish it, but it does suggest that it's suited for 4 people. Security and staff were really pleasant.

We attended the Sip, Smoke, & Candle event for Valentine's Day. It may have been the holiday but this event was a major disappointment. A major appeal to the event was that it is on the rooftop, but we were instead put in a tiny room with 6 other people. The instructor continued to disappear and was not able to be attentive to our group at all. There were also very few supplies left to properly customize your candle. Many of the scent bottles were empty or near empty. The drinks were not good and we were not even offered hookah, which was a major attraction for a “Sip, Smoke, & Candle” event. Please do not waste your money.
