Steppin' Out has won Best of the Seacoast for the last 7 years in a row for a very good reason...they truly are the best! They have classes for all ages 2-102; their teachers are kind, nurturing and extremely talented. Their recital performances are very entertaining and so much fun to watch. They offer an adaptive dance program that is 100% free for the families of children with special needs. The studios are clean, spacious and well maintained. The owner and artistic director is the kindest person you will ever meet and her focus has always been the happiness and wellbeing of all the students. The fact that there are second generation dancers at the studio attests to the family vibe of the SODA. ?

The absolute best dance studio in the area!! I highly recommend. I attended Steppin Out when I was a kid and my former teacher is now the owner. The teachers are so good with my daughter. She’s been dancing here since she was 3 and she looks forward to every class. The recitals are always an impressive display showcasing amazing talent and adorable little dancers. Very affordable and they even offer a completely FREE program for dancers with special needs.

My daughter has been attending Steppin out for 13 years. We love the owner and all the teachers. Amazing place for you kids if they love dance! They have adult classes as well as fitness classes.

Rated a 2 because they have a lot of classes to offer that meets the needs of most interests including adult classes. However, if you are new to the studio do not be expected to know what is going on. It is organized chaos. Also I would not recommend if a child has special needs or learning disabilities. Staff does not take the time to listen and take into consideration the needs of the student with the teacher. When asking questions they are unable to answer the question from staff and the teacher does not know. It is a revolving door for the studio to make money and to have enough bodies in there without taking into consideration those who may not be apart of their dance team.
