After my tire was grabbed by a semi truck (that accidentally turned wide into my lane) it drug my car about 10-15 feet, does a hole in the tire and knocked my tires it of alignment. I managed to get it to Steele's. Even though they were completely booked they managed to get me in. They inspected my axel and suspension, got me set up with a new tire and an alignment. They also ordered me a new wheel (which I go back in a couple days to get put on). They were super friendly, kept in touch with me and kept me informed every step of the way! I highly recommend them to everyone!

When I brought my meticulously maintained motorhome to Steels's Hometown Tire to fix a leaking valve stem, all the wheels had six aluminum lugnut caps and center caps. When I left, the wheel they worked on was missing four lugnut caps and the center cap.

I asked John Steele, the owner and the store manager, where my caps were. The store manager scoffed and said I brought my rig in that way. I explained that I stood beside the tech as he started working on my wheels. I told him there were aluminum caps on the lugnuts and center hub and watched as he took each off. The store manager scoffed at me again, so I turned to John Steele. He said he didn't know who to believe.

John Steele sent me on my way with four missing aluminum lugnut caps and the center cap gone. I told John I had no alternative but to share this honest experience in a review, and thus, this review.

Problems happen constantly; the difference between good and bad companies is how they address them. Because of this experience, I would never recommend Steels's Hometown Tire to my friends.

When Mr. Steele ran the shop it was best repair shop in NKY. When Mr. Steele sold the company late last year I had high hopes that they would stay top notch as well.

In April, 2024 my 2005 Impala was overheating mildly so I brought it in and the management quickly told me the engine was toast. Sold the Impala to my good friend for $200 and within a week it was running as good as it was before. Turns out it needed a radiator cap and some new fans.. Engine was still in excellent shape so now I have to look for a brand new vehicle since I sold my “blown engine” Impala to said friend who is now using it as a daily driver.

Everyone here is friendly and professional! I was blown away when I received a detailed report on my phone regarding my car - complete with pics! And the waiting area has the most comfortable chairs if you need to wait while your vehicle is being repaired.

It was my 1st time Going to Steeles Hometown Tire. Was a little concerned of the fact that I was unknown to them. And had bought parts online and having them, install them. They took a single exhaust and made a dual exhaust and while deciding how I wanted the tips lined up, I mentioned that I should've seen about them installing a, K&N cold air intake, I also had bought online, while it was there. Ten minutes later it was being installed. Great job, Good people, Honest and fair prices.When time to pay he asked if I was OK with the amount .Which I was very satisfied, will return ....

I had notice a leak under my car
Took my car to Neco at Hometown garage on Friday afternoon. He found a cracked in my radiator. Neco said he could order part and have my car ready Monday. He had his employee drive me to Enterprize to pick up the rental.
Monday afternoon my car was ready. Good price and warranty on work.
