Absolutely beautiful space- we rented for our wedding! Staff is so friendly and helpful, the event and coordination leading up to the event went so smooth, and the amenities/ space available to use is so convenient! Plenty of getting ready space, tons of photo location options, and many additional rooms that are very nice. Highly recommend for any event!

St. Cecilia has a beautiful music hall that provides a very comfortable environment for live music and incredible acoustic sound quality. I attended the Sierra Hull concert. I have seen Sierra play at seven different venues in the past 14 months and St. Cecilia provided the best sound environment for her amazing musicianship. Refreshments and drinks are limited, they had small bottles of water for $1.00 - but go for the sound quality!

The team at St. Cecilia Music Center was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. Their communication was quick, kind, and welcoming from the very first interaction. The venue itself is truly elegant and beautiful, providing the perfect formal setting for our special day. They also provided my bridal party, and my grooms party each with a suite to get ready in. Nadine, the wedding coordinator, was incredibly helpful in keeping everything on schedule and organized behind the scenes. She provided a detailed packet to ensure all our vendors were aligned. We could not have asked for a better venue and team to bring our wedding vision to life. Highly recommend St. Cecilia Music Center!

We had our wedding reception at St. Cecilia (in the Dexter ballroom) because it was one of the places where I grew up performing at violin recitals. We loved that St. Cecilia is so beautiful and elegant as is, so few decorations were necessary to elevate the space, saving us money and a headache! Nadine was lovely to work with, and she was notably very knowledgeable about St. Cecilia's facilities and organized. She also made an exception to her tour schedule to accommodate our availability as physicians with rigid schedules who live on the opposite side of the state. St. Cecilia worked seamlessly with our vendors (Martha's catering and Special Occasions), and to our surprise, they also set up a beautiful table for private appetizers for us while our guests enjoyed cocktail hour. The only downside to getting married at St. Cecilia is that the earliest you can enter (for set up, etc.) is noon the day of your booking. This did not pose an issues for us, but this could make it challenging for folks who plan to have their wedding AND reception at St. Cecilia or wish to have a rehearsal dinner at St. Cecilia the night before (which is not an option at this time). Overall, we had a wonderful experience! Thank you.

We visited the Music Center to see the Grand Rapids Symphony perform and so glad we did. Before the concert they had coffee and doughnuts available in a large Reception Hall and talking with the staff, the building was a church built in the 1800s that was restored and renovated. They did a great job. The concert auditorium is stunning, the color palette is bright cream and off-white, and altho it seats only 500, feels both intimate and expansive. The acoustics were great, they matched and maybe exceeded those of its home venue at Devos.

The one building feature that got my attention was the ceiling of the reception hall, Designed as large coffers by dropped beams, there was a noticeable sag to the center of the room by beams running in both directions. It was unnerving at first, but there's no sign of cracks in the finishes, Whatever caused the sag, the system had stabilized enough by the time of the restoration.

We had the most wonderful experience at St. Cecilia's on our wedding day! From booking to the day of the wedding, Nadine was so helpful! Communication was wonderful leading up to the day. We even got a layout of our table setup to send to other vendors. They were also so accommodating when we decided to move the buffet to the lower level of the building. Choosing this venue was truly a worthwhile investment!

We were originally concerned about the option of only one bar vendor. But we now know why they prioritize them! Martha's catering went above and beyond for us and the bartenders were wonderful. They clearly know the venue and have a lot of experience. So do not let the catering options deter you, clearly St. Cecilia's has them picked for a reason and you can trust your vendors!

Have I mentioned that the building is gorgeous!?! The ballroom is stunning and the rooms are all so magical. It is such a beautiful wedding venue. Our guests had a wonderful time!

There is magic in those walls. Not just the history but the music and art shared over all these years. The hall has a sound like no other. Go to every concert you can.
