Stay as far as you can from this place, unless you want your filter dropping off in the driveway when you get home.

I came here to get my oil changed. I only do this occasionally when I don't feel like doing it. I went home, everything is great. Next morning, I go outside, drive down the road not even 50 feet and my car starts knocking. There is a trail of oil from my driveway, all the way down the road. (See pictures)

Of course I get it towed to Speedee (They can't even reimburse me for the tow) and they all gather round and look at the spectacle that is my car. The manager was very friendly, and very sorry about the incident. My oil is refilled and I'm sent on my way, and I am even given one FREE oil change! (That I am never going to use, now.)

Some time later, with ~4,000 miles left before the next change, my car's oil is halfway empty already. I top up and think I'm good.
A little more time later, with around ~2,000 miles left, I'm getting onto lovely Rt. 24 (Now featuring no merge lanes!) My car bucks, the flashing check engine light comes on, and my car goes into limp mode. I limp off the highway into a gas station, check my oil and it's... Completely bone dry.

I take my car to a real mechanic, and he tells me someone stripped out my oil plug, and decided that gluing it back in was the best move. Couldn't even do that right, because it had been leaking all my oil out!

(Manager said he can't do anything about it if he doesn't see the car, and wouldn't take the old oil pan after it had been removed from my car as proof.)

If you want to be stuck with a $400 bill to replace your oil pan and get your 3rd premature oil change in the last 12 months and oil stains all in your compacted driveway out in the street, stop at SpeeDee Oil today!

4 stars as it's fair to say I "liked it, but there was nothing there to "love". The place is as advertised as the name suggests: Quick.

My family has been going here for almost 15 years, whilst the owners have changed the current staff is efficient, friendly, and informative as far as I can tell.

The price's are to be expected and the staff aren't pushy. For example, I even heard them dealing with an ancient fossil of a lady very gently, and they weren't pulling one over on her like we fear some places might. Kudos.

The waiting room was clean, and the checkout was simple. Definitely will return.

Posted a picture of the truck that needed the car wash next after they finished the oil change in about 20min tops.

Great experience here... Saab recommended Mobil 1 synthetic oil from the start on my '06 9-3 convertible, so SpeeDee is my go-to place for oil changes. The service techs are thorough... I watched from the waiting room as the tech working on my car went over each item on the checklist, checking them off in order. He did make a couple of recommendations for higher-mileage vehicles that weren't necessary with my car, but that's expected and they had no problem with me declining to move forward with those things.

The whole process took about 25 minutes, and I saved $5 with a coupon on their website. Not the biggest discount, but still something. These guys (and girl) are trustworthy though. I'll continue to use this SpeeDee location in the future.

Great service, no appointment needed. I drove up to the overhead door, was greeted professionally and courteous.
Requested an oil change, they reviewed the service with me and I drove away 13 minutes after I had arrived.

Showed up real early Saturday-7:30. Needed oil change, sticker, and fix check engine light. Stepped away 30 min for coffee/brkft. Waited 3 hours only to find that my car only got oil change and was parked in rear for over 2.5 hours. Wish someone told me on my return that they didn’t have time/person to investigate engine light (so no sticker) and my car was all set.
(Did they want me to wait all day to tell me it’s ready?) Few times I was only one in the waiting area. Girl at Key Control/Desk should do a better job & know what’s going on.

I liked the service better when the location was in Abington. It was family owned and the service was the best. Definitely not going back to Taunton location. The tech that did my car oil change did not gave me any updates about my car condition or if I needed additional services. The reminder sticker placed in the windshield for the next oil change was not updated with correct date and miles.
The girl that took my payment barely said two words, and she was not in the mood for questions.I asked her about my tires and quickly gave me an unsatisfactory answer. Sorry speedDee i will be looking for another place to take my vehicle. 🙁

Good place, the crew seemed friendly and willing to answer questions. Good atmosphere, and they took me right away for an oil change. I gave it 3 because they were out of air filters, and when I asked about other services (tires), I couldn't get a definitive answer or quote. All in all, great service.
