Shayna is a talented teacher who knows how to motivate her students to perform at their best. She is also very responsive and accommodative, a high plus for busy working moms. My girls love the acrobat dance classes! P.s. their new studio is amazing!

Hands down best dance studio! My daughter started at 2.5 yrs old and I was so nervous but she loved it! Miss Shayna was super supportive-my daughter and I had such a great experience! Great choreography and amazing teachers who love to teach. Thank you Shine on performing arts center for making my princess a star! Cannot wait to sign up for 2019-2020 year!

Absolutely love this studio and the owner! Shayna has been so warm and welcoming with my 2.5 year old and she has so much patience when teaching. We love Shine On Performing Arts Center! My 3 daughters attend here and they absolutely all love it! Shayna is such a fantastic teacher and is so personable. She’s great with all of the kids. My 3 year old has learned so much since starting last year and has gained so much confidence. My girls look forward to coming to class every week! We’re so glad we found this studio.

My daughter trained with Miss Shayna for three years, and the experience helped her grow as a dancer, artist and individual. Shayna has the ability to meet her students where they are, and help them get to the next level. She holds her students to a high standard, but she withholds those same standards for herself. As a dancer with Shayna for six years, she truly is an amazing teacher and person. Full of charisma and kindness, Shayna pours her heart into everything she does- especially dance. Shayna is great at understanding what each student needs and working with their strengths. She is an excellent role model and a wonderful teacher. Her choreography is award-winning and she helps each dancer feel comfortable and confident stepping on stage. I was also a student of Carla's for several years. Carla's choreography is stunning and she really helped me to hone my ballet technique while making class engaging and enjoying. She truly cares about all of her students as dancers and as people. SOPAC is the place to be!!

Owner/director, Shayna Chapman, was my daughter's dance instructor and company director for 4 years. Shayna is both a strong technician and beautiful choreographer. Though her expectations are high, she is brilliant at seeing a dancer's strengths and potential and pushing them in ways that help them grow without breaking a young dancer's love of the art.
