*READ BEFOR BUYING USED*
Quick overview about what's in this review. I was purchasing a used f150 and was met with nothing but headaches and problems along the way. When i finally got the truck it was riddled with problems and had to fight to get things done.
-Starting November 14, 2024 I went in looking for a used truck preferably f150 with a v8 however i was shown 2-3 f150s none with a v8 which to me no problem i was very flexible. after test driving one they got in as a trade we ran numbers and i was happy with what i saw. gave me a fair buy for my Tacoma and i managed to talk them down on the price for their car a bit. Finance guy came over and we shook on that i would leave a down payment and we will have the title in 1-1 1/2 weeks.

-Come 1 1/2 weeks, we were approaching thanksgiving and i figured with the holidays there was no way things would be happening so i gave them the benefit of doubt and waited to say anything until after thanksgiving.
In the meantime i insured and had a check ready for the truck assuming it was not going to be longer than the 2 weeks tops, boy was i wrong.
Come week 3-4 i start to ask more and more questions being told that the bank had released the title and now we were just waiting for it to physically arrive.
Keep in mind the truck has been in their hands for over 4 weeks now and they assured it would be ready to go as soon as they got the title in they would just need my check and everything will be all set
-December 23, 2024 finally comes and i now finally have the truck as for the title wasn't even released until about a week prior to that due to some bank issues the previous owner used, I'll spare the details. in that week 4 and 5 i asked to speak to someone other than my sales lady and also left 2 messages with the GM Brian who has to this day (1/29/2025) yet to return my call.

A WEEK INTO OWNING THE TRUCK I COME HOME TO OIL ALL OVER MY DRIVE WAY (12/30/24)

to my surprise it was gear oil all over my drive way which now stunk and stained up my whole drive way, also earlier that day since it was warmer and raining out i find out that they tried to cover a rust spot on the right rear bumper!!!! so i was already to make a call about that in which i was quickly met with a WE DONT COVER BODY DEFECTS YOU SEEN THE CAR WHEN YOU PURCHASED IT. Yes dings and dents i might understand but a poorly covered rust issue that laid under the plastic part of the bumper and was only shown when rust water ran down is VERY unprofessional of anyone let alone a dealership to try and cover up!

Now ANNYOED and EXHAUSTED with just trying to get the truck i call the dealer and after finally getting someone to speak to from their call center answering lady who was short of helpful in any way i finally spoke to a service writer and they IMMEDIATLEY arranged for a tow truck to come in the next day to come pick up my truck.

After they had my truck and still not knowing what they were going to do, I was running on fumes and wanted nothing more that for the work to be done properly and just go about my way. i would have even taken my Tacoma back at this point

AFTER speaking to Steve i believe last name Fortie, I was finally assured that the truck was going to be repaired without a doubt and that the paint, AFTER FIGHTING AND DEMANDING MY TACOMA BACK, he finally said ok we will send the truck out to paint.

NOTHING about this transaction was in my favor and all i did was pay outright for the vehicle i waited and i was still handed nothing short of a headache and wasted time / money

I am in no way happy with any part of this transaction and quite frankly have zero trust in the vehicle and can not wait to get rid of it fast enough, WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS AGAIN WITH SENTRY FORD AND WILL BE REACHING OUT TO CORPORATE.

Mind you when i picked the truck up the first time it didn't pass inspection, they only had it 5+ weeks to drive it and get the miles in.
