Beautiful school. Not the same as I knew it in the 80's and 90's. I don't like the astatic at all. It's covering up a lot. Such as the kids are extremely ghetto. They cuss worse than adults. Bullies do exist. Which is why uniforms were implementeded. CSPA didn't get the memo. Dance. Only ballet? Who cares about ballet? No variety. How are you a performing arts school but only focuses on one dance that has ridiculous beauty and weight standards?
I was done right there!!
I am 56. Grew up near the school. Had family in this school. It's not the same. The new over the top appearance of the school hides so much ugly.

Its a love hate relationship but it is a good learning experience, just the work is hard but it’s not the school it’s the students bullying is not took seriously..but I have been bullied and cyber bullied and more and it messes with your mental heath I love mr.grey & mr Owens he always gave me chances may god continue to bless him and mr.grey you have such a great soul to me.. may god bless you ! Sorry I made that review I was being petty I miss some of y’all & I loves the ones who loves My old major teacher so favoritism… he hated me for no reason and Ms Lehman

fire experience and gotten lots of constrictive help from the art teachers here and opportunities, and they're very genuine and seemingly look like they actually care about the students and our hard work. Which many teachers from past schools I’ve went too lack. Shout out to my homegirl Ms Sillis, give that woman a raise.

My daughter was bullied for being white. So bad she came home with bruises from being choked out. The teacher found a hit note to attack my daughter. We immediately came to school to speak with the principal and they pretty much said it was no big deal and said they would do things to discipline and never did anything. It was so bad that my daughter was terrified to go to school. We had to pull her out and put her in a different school.
Also my son was in kindergarten and one morning the bus driver yelled at my son and my wife had a few words with the driver and got really upset and called the bus company to complain about her. That afternoon my wife waited for my son at his bus stop. He never arrived. Then she got a call from the police. They said my son walked into a library crying. The bus driver who my wife had an argument earlier had dropped my 5 yr old son 10 blocks from his bus stop by himself. Luckily he was smart enough to go to the library and ask for help. We again immediately went to the school to talk with the principal. He again shrugged it off. And absolutely nothing happened to the driver. She is still driving kids around today. My biggest conclusion is that the school just tries to brush things under the rug and pretend like they are a premier school but one day they will be exposed. Do not send your kids to this school.

You should not send your kids here. The teachers pick on certain kids. The vice principal keeps kids in her office all day just so she can hear drama about people she runs around and tells students business to other teachers. The principal of the school always brushes bullying reports under the rug and the bathrooms are filthy and dirty menstrual blood all over the toilets… just really disgusting. And in the bathroom people write on the wall with it, just really nasty A LOT OF KIDS get bullied here like seriously it’s sad but the principal always talking about how good of a school it is but it’s a huge scandal the school is just really a hot mess. And some of the kids here are really racist and rude to other kids and disabled kids.

My son has been going to scpa since kindergarten he’s now in the 3rd grade this school is horrible the comments are true the kids there will bully your child or kids and nothing will be done I’m a different type of parent I’m not just going to remove my child from the school because bully is all over no matter where u go so with me I simply told the staff my son will not be reporting nothing else that happens due to nothing never change when he’s getting bullied so we took matter in our own hands I don’t care if it’s a girl or a boy but if someone touches mines best believe mines going to retaliate and don’t coming calling me about no meetings or nothing because when I said something nothing was done so don’t except for me to come and listen to what my child did cause I already know parents yall need to teach yall kids to hold there own and stand there ground or they will forever be picked on thank me later cause now don’t nobody mess with my son cause he already knows what to do cause this been going on since first grade if there’s any better schools out there please let parents know and parents don’t send yall kids to this school just horrible from the kids to the staff and it starts with the staffs

I used to go to Performing Arts. My daughter needs to return her iPad. I've called more than five times, today a woman hung up on me. All I want to do is give them back a device. I'm so glad I don't have to deal with this awful lady on a daily basis. She was rude and had zero people skills.
