We were there at the end of Hurricane Lee day, and watched a most amazing sunset from the porch. The food and the service was just as amazing. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had the clam platter and the fish and chips with a bottle of wine. Probably one of the best F&C I’ve had on the Cape to date. Clams were perfect! Lots of French fries and fresh coleslaw. Perfect evening with a perfect sunset and dinner.

Great place to enjoy fantastic food and a beautiful location. They have the great quality casual Beach food- this is a typical food shack. The prices are typical of today's inflated food market. You will get fresh well made food here. They seem to be out of a few things so keep in mind that may happen.

There is VERY limited parking. It's a small place and they can only serve so many therefore parking is equally challenging. The setting is gorgeous. I included photos of that because who wouldn't want to enjoy eating here? 😁👍 Enjoy The Sand Bar!

We love the Sandbar. The food is great and the scenery is beautiful right on the water. During the day this a great place for families. They make great Mudslides. If you’re looking for a place to dance- come on a Saturday night and see Nautilus play! They have live music through out the week and some of the friendliest staff in town.

Good service, server was friendly and checked in often. Had a mid size group and sat outside.
Busy place with a great vibe.
Parking is ‘valet’ in a small parking lot.

Gluten free options - and super accommodating. Make sure you over communicate allergy and severity.

$30 lobster roll with fries and slaw. Buttery toast bun and with good portion of lobster meat.
Fish sandwich was extra crispy and delicious

Something surprising: Parking is a bit of a pain, partially because the place is always very busy during the summer.

Reservation needed? No, but be prepared to wait if you're with family or in a larger group.

Overall Experience: 4/5. Funny and patient staff, classic and unpretentious coastal fare, great New England beers, cozy interior with a great bar area, and a nice view on the patio.

We loved the sand bar the weekend of our wedding! We stayed at the lighthouse inn and used it as a meeting place a couple nights before our wedding. Pizzas and drinks, live music, and a place to gather. Can’t ask for much more. My only regret/ complaint is that a year ago we asked to do the after party here for our wedding, but they were already going to be closed for the season. Would’ve been a great spot for that party, but can’t wait to come back and visit!!

Cute little rustic bar and grill, close enough to the ocean inlet to provide an airy and beach-like atmosphere. Staff are super friendly and aim to please. The menu is small but there’s something here for almost everyone, from pizza to burgers to fried fish to some interesting sandwiches. I had a grilled shrimp taco, cooked just right and full of flavor, and a house salad that was very fresh. Beer selection was good. Sat at the inside bar with plenty of fresh breeze; they also have nice indoor and outdoor (picnic table) seating areas. No wait for a table or spot at the bar, which is a welcome surprise in the Cape Cod high tourist season!
