Joe created a drumming class/circle for our little Girl Scout troop. It was so fun for both the girls and moms! It was fun, interactive and also informative! Joe was great with the kids so patient and kind. All the girls were able to use their own drum and had an absolute blast! He was so sweet to get a Valentine gift and wrote an individual thank you to all of them! I’d definitely recommend anyone go to him for music lessons! It was just an absolutely wonderful experience!

My son Alex takes drum lessons with Henry and loves it. My daughter Alyssa takes lessons with Nicole and loves it. Joe the owner treats everyone like family. The kids get real world experience with different public playing events. I’m inspired to start taking drum lessons again myself. I highly recommend checking this place out for you or your children.

It’s not much to look at from outside and inside is rather dated, which actually gives nice old-school kinda feeling. Our experience here has been very good since our son started his drum lessons 4 years ago. We changed his teachers few times for scheduling conflicts, but our son really clicked with Dan, and he got so much better. Our son has more appreciation for music in general as well. The school puts an extra effort/opportunities for the students to enjoy live music/performance, which we thought pretty cool.

Over the past few years our family has been pretty involved with the Rochester School of Music. Both our son and daughter have been taking
lessons there for both drums and piano. All of the teachers we have had have been wonderful, and have made it fun for the kids to learn!
The Rochester School of Music has been a very welcoming, positive and rewarding experience for our family. Each year we have been given the opportunity to play in a recital, or on stage in a performance with a live band. And we have also taken part in summer bbq's, casual jam sessions, and the annual Rochester Christmas downtown parade.
The Rochester School of Music has become like family to us, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking to pursue any aspect of music.

Mary and I wanted to express our thanks for everything you have done to foster Matthew’s musical interests. Rochester School of Music, along with the staff, all share a love of music and it shows in everything you do. From scheduling sessions with an instructor to buying musical supplies from your staff, our experience in our son’s musical journey could not have been better. If it were not for Matthew starting a job and driver’s training, he would still be in lessons. Matthew knows that he has a solid foundation and can advance in drums by practicing on his own. As a parent, I am very proud of Matthew’s abilities on drums for the time that he has spent on lessons.

We would personally like to thank Nick for his guidance and tutoring of Matthew. He has always been available for Matthew and he makes the lessons enjoyable and fun for him as well. Matthew would always look forward to the lessons with Nick and do his best to make sure that he was practicing everything that he was taught. Matthew has made a friend with Nick and he knows that if he ever has any questions or concerns that he can call him for advice.

Also, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to you for the family type atmosphere that Rochester School of Music embodies. From the outdoor picnics that you organized to the public play at area churches and clubs, the kids really enjoyed playing in front of a friendly crowd and the musicians make it so easy for the kids to be comfortable.

Again, I would like to state that our whole family has enjoyed the time that we have spent with Rochester School of Music and would like to extend our sincere thanks for everything that you have done to bring out the music within Matthew. The lessons and knowledge he received, will stay with him throughout his life.
