My name is Elvis. I have used RJ outdoors since my permanent change of station in 2020. I don't know if there's a change in ownership. But this guy Bob is one of the rudest people I have dealt with in a very long time. They charged me 280 bucks for a carburator service on a 3 years old push mower. And I asked this Bob if they have military discount. The guy asked me 'were you drafted '. He essentially meant did anyone forced me to enlist. A simple no we don't have military discount would have sufficed.
Times are hard all around, helping each other is how we get through this. No need to be little someone. I will never go back there.

I've used RJs before, quality work. I called them this morning because my Deck Belt popped off track mid mow. I called RJs and explained the situation and also informed them that we were leaving for vacation today and weren't going to be home all week. Well, within a matter of minutes (and I mean minutes), they had a technician there and she made quick work of fixing my Cub Cadet 42' Rider, (thanks Sullivan)! I HIGHLY recommend using RJs Outdoor Power! Thank you again RJs!

Brought a DR chipper to RJ’s that needed attention and was still under warranty. DR technician advised me that RJ’s was authorized to work on the engine. When I got there, the owner advised me that they no longer honored any of DR’s warranties due to problems with DR. At this point I was willing to leave the chipper and asked if he would look at it and advise me as to what the problem was. He, the owner, came out to the vehicle, looked at it, and then went and got some tools to pull apart the area affected. He fixed the problem, smiled, and as I offered him payment he shook his head “no”. I truly appreciated his help and will recommend RJ’s Outdoor Power to all my friends. Friendly and courteous and know what they are doing!

I went to RJ's Outdoor Power, Inc. 460 New Ludlow Rd. Chicopee, MA to look for a new lawn tractor. I was immediately greeted by a lady behind the counter and I explained that I was looking for information about lawn tractors. I had walked in leaning towards a cub cadet after doing on-line research and talking to friends. Bob came a few minutes later as he was un-loading a truck and introduced himself. I explained what I was looking for in a lawn tractor and Bob asked a few questions and then showed me some units that would do what I was looking for. I was impressed that Bob actually listened to my requirements and showed me units that would fulfill my requirements. He was not pushy or tried to steer me into something. He laid out the pros and cons of the different units as we went along. I had narrowed it down to 2 different zero turn units. Bob offered me to test drive a zero turn unit as I had never used one before. I decided on the Cub Cadet ZT2-50 unit. Delivery was a very pleasant experience. The delivery man went over the operation of the unit and gave me some pointers that have been spot on. I have been back to RJ's Outdoor Power, twice now for supplies as they carry the needed oil and filters etc. and they have everything in stock. I was never made to feel rushed by any of the staff including the delivery person.
Now About the unit I bought.
I bought the Cub Cadet ZT2-50 August 2019 and retired my 19 year old lawn tractor. This unit delivers as promised. Starts right away, handles very well, and is very easy to change the oil. I am having no issues at all as the Kawasaki FR691V has plenty of power for cutting where my old lawn tractor would slow down and cut poorly. Vibration is not an issue and the garden hose clean-out connection is great. Seat accommodates me as I am over 6' and I am able to stretch out while using. Cup holder is a nice touch and having the LED readout is great for keeping track of needed service intervals. The extra wide tires make using this unit on inclines more stable and I get better traction. I enjoy using this product and now look forward to using it every week.

Had my lawn tractor picked up for repair. A week later they informed us the tractor was all set a few days after pick up and ready they were just waiting on a 3rd party warranty for payment. Another week goes by and I contacted the warranty provider and they never sent them a invoice for payment. Then after multiple phone calls to try to get someone to get us a date to have it delivered back they tell us another week out. So the tractor has been sitting done for well over a week and after that another week for delivery. I would not recommend this company.
