I’ve had such an amazing fast experience with quirk! Jason the GM & sales person bianna were perfect! I had my eye on the 2024 Tiguan sel r line but didn’t have any luck with pricing at other Volkswagen dealers. Until we spoke to Jason , he gave us an awesome deal & he reassured it would be a quick process. Went in on a Monday and drove away with my brand new car Friday 🙂 Thank you guys so so much on this beautiful purchase!

I’m very disappointed with the service at Quirk Volkswagen. I called to confirm the oil changes included with my brand-new Volkswagen because the Volkswagen website clearly states it comes with oil changes. At the beginning of the call, the representative asked if I purchased the car there. When I said no, he told me it only comes with two oil changes, up to 20,000 miles, and that I should go back to where I purchased the vehicle. To make things worse, at the very end of the call, he hung up on me. This unprofessional behavior and lack of clear communication are unacceptable for an authorized Volkswagen dealership.

I have been very disappointed by my experience with Quirk VW, and I am anxiously awaiting the end of my lease so that I never need to deal with Quirk or VW again.

First, the main selling feature for me was the ability to control the car from the app. They failed to mention that there is a known issue with Tiguans and the app not working. I have spent hours at the dealership and on the phone with VW customer care and no one was able to assist me until my 4th visit to the dealership. On my first visit for this issue the IT guy pointed out to the service dept that there was a symbol greyed out and the service tech ignored him and made him stand outside in the rain while we called VW and they did nothing. On my second visit they told me the issue was fixed and as soon as I got in the car it was clear it was not. Again all they did was have me call the VW customer service. On my 3rd visit the service dept manager pointed out that this symbol was greyed out and that was causing the issue. However they still sent me home because they didn’t know how to resolve. They had me come back a 4th time and said they would be done in a few hours. After 8 hours, and just before they closed I called for an update and they said they wanted to keep my car overnight. Since they didn’t offer a loaner originally I had to beg for one, and I had to pay for my own Uber to get back and forth. It is insane that they didn’t even plan on calling to tell me they were keeping the car overnight, as I needed it to pick my dog up from daycare. They told me that the car should be done early the next day, but yet again 4PM rolled around and I hadn’t heard from anyone. When I called they asked me if the issue was fixed - I would expect that they would know the answer to that, and I’m not sure how I’d be able to tell when they have the car and I’m at home. I could tell from the app that they hadn’t touched the car since 9AM. I could also see they left all of the windows open overnight, which meant the car was dusty and smelled like a garage, neither of which was true before I brought it in. I also had taken my car to the car wash the day before, and when I left it was covered in black water marks, which means I had to pay to get it washed again.

Second, on pick-up the main driver door was misaligned, causing it to stick pretty significantly. While the service dept at Quirk was able to resolve this, it’s pretty frustrating to have to bring a brand new car back for service. Additionally when they were fixing the door they found that the car was never taken out of transport mode - this seems like a basic check missed in the delivery process.

Third, the acceleration is incredibly laggy to the point that it feels dangerous. I’ve tried every setting possible and I still feel like every time I merge onto the highway I’m risking an accident. On review with the service dept they basically just threw a lot of mechanical terms at me and said that’s how it’s supposed to work. It’s incredibly frustrating to be spending my vacation time at the dealership on a brand new car, and now I’m just stuck with an unsafe car for 3 years.

This is my 5th lease (1st VW) and I have never once had to bring a car in for anything other than regular oil/filter changes, so having to go back 5 times in 7 weeks already is just insane. I’m already counting down the days until I can trade in this lease for something else.

Additionally I tried to ask the manager how to get out of my lease and he said we could talk to a GM. Instead all he did was say that he talked to the service dept and someone would get fired. Honestly, that does nothing for me and I would be even more upset if someone did get fired. I just wish Quirk would take accountability for these issues, and instead I’ve heard nothing in terms of making up for these issues or helping me get out of the lease.
