Great first visit, place was packed with (2) 15+ people large groups, so things took slightly longer… BUT our waitress Brianna was kind enough to let us know things were a moving a little slower and to get our orders in early so we didn’t have to wait. Brianna was also very attentive, nice, and the food was great. It was my Dad’s bday dinner, we had ahi tuna, oysters Rockefeller, steaks, chicken marsala, and crab stuff flounder- all wonderful! Also the nightcap drinks were superb! AND I got a cheesecake that Brianna made it happen with some cherries on top for me! 🍒 Thanks! We’ll be back!

First time my husband and I visited the staff was very friendly. We were seated in the bar area. Everything tasted good. Our food was very quick to come out. The crab stuffed salmon was full of flavor. The bone in New York strip was good but lacking in the flavor department. Overall it was good experience, however once they got busy the server/ bartender was very overwhelmed and had a hard time keeping up. They should consider having another server assist with the tables in the bar area.

Went for the Mother’s Day brunch. Food was all a solid 4/5, nothing incredible nothing bad. Waiter was slow and inexperienced but he was nice and his heart was in the right place.

We were finshed eating and sitting there waiting on our final coffee refill and check when the manager came up to us and said “hey I’m going to need you guys to wrap it up and get out, the next group is waiting on you” to which we responded “we are waiting on a coffee refill and the check you haven’t brought us”. At $150 for a 3 person breakfast this type of service is unacceptable.

So instead of a good experience the manager ruined it trying to rush out when it was the restaurants own fault we were still there. The experience was tainted and we left with a bad taste in our mouth.

After driving 5 hours, I was looking for a good steak. The hotel I was staying at in Wilson, North Carolina, told me I had to drive 30 miles for a steakhouse.
After doing a Google search, I found Pups Steakhouse, which was only 5.4 miles from where I was staying.
Upon pulling in, I did not think anything much about the entrance other than how inviting and cute it was, near Food Lion. It was a Friday night. I found a seat comfortably at the bar. Immediately I was greeted and was able to give my drink and food order to the bartender. The service was excellent, and the food came out very fast. The ribeye steak was cooked perfectly. The asparagus was delicious and the baked potato was spot on! The glass of Chianti I had with my meal was delicious. After I boxed up The remaining of my meal I headed to the back patio upon a servers suggestion. I was blown away. The atmosphere was just sublime after a 5 Hour Drive. It was relaxing and Kris was so inviting! She told me all about the Restaurant and the area of Wilson, NC. She made me feel right at home and never neglected any of my needs while I sat there, listening to an amazing singer. I travel between Georgia and Baltimore at least every other month. This will now be my go to stop.
Food service atmosphere they have it all! Thank you for an enjoyable experience and thank you, Kris!!

My 1st experience, comma and definitely will not be my last I'll ask. I'although the food is expensive expensive you get your money's worth. My server was exceptional, the setting was perfectAnd the food was magnificent. The appetizer gouda bomb Is is by far my favorite appetizer ever I will recommend this restaurant to any and everybody who will listen

Man O Man! Y’all, this dinner was delicious!!
This was our first of many more visits to come. We just moved to the area and wanted a nice steak dinner.
I ordered the 6 oz. Fillet with lemon butter crab on top, the absolute best green beans I’ve ever had, and a baked potato. My hubby had the prime rib with green beans and a loaded baked potato. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, the flavor was on point and the portion size was just right. We enjoyed a some fresh, warm bread and butter before our meals arrived with our cocktails. The drinks were pretty good too!
Our server was nice. She was attentive and punctual. This really was a superb meal! Me and my family will definitely be back for more!

This place was amazing. It's a lovely little spot where even waiters helping other tables will ask if you need anything. The food was amazing as well as the drinks(they do ID). Everything was sparkling clean and our waiter had a bright smile happy to help. Portions might seem smaller if you are used to chain restaurants but after the bread and appetizer you'll be good an full when you finish everything.
