I recently rented tables and chairs for a graduation party at my home. The order process went smoothly and the delivery went well. They delivered on a Friday and the pickup was on Monday. I even paid an extra fee to have them delivered up 10 stairs that are in the backyard. Upon pickup as the truck was being backed into my driveway they backed into my opened gate. They immediately stopped and drove forward then at that point the passenger got out and guided the driver up the driveway.
We provided them with a video showing this but because of lighting and angles it didn't show the exact contact that the truck made with the gate. We provided another video that showed the truck backing up and the sound the contact made when the truck hit the gate but these videos did not seem to be enough for Tim to believe that their drivers were at fault. We provided pictures of the damage to the gate as well.
We had agreed to have them bring back the truck so that we can show him where the truck must have hit as it was backing into the driveway but he has not responded with a date/time. We are not looking to get a new gate, we just want the dented section of the gate fixed.
Unfortunately, I will not be using PUAC for any future event nor will I recommend them.

They were wonderful, start to finish. I had my wedding pulled out from under me in 2020. I had a month to plan a smaller backyard reception, and I was stressed and feeling so down. Pull up a Chair was such a positive experience that I started to be excited about the wedding day again. They were quick to send me quotes, help me decide on tent size and had the most amazing selection. I so highly recommend them. They were amazing!!!

I have rented chairs from this company before and I have never had an issue. I have placed an order with the Manger(male) and he was kind. Unfortunately this time around I tried to get a hold of someone for a week and no response. I finally get a hold of someone apparently she’s the managers wife who was extremely rude. I was trying to explain to her that I had spoken to someone but they told me to call back and I messaged the number they text you from. I told her she was being hostile and she told me it was because I had been calling when they said they would reach back to me when they never did. So it makes it ok to be rude to customer who are trying to get a hold of someone? Then she starts to raise her voice at me. I am truly disappointed in the way the MANAGER’S wife is acting towards customers. Unacceptable behavior! Told her to cancel my order and this is the last time I will EVER rent from this company.

As you can see below to their response apparently the customer was in the wrong, now they are lying about not raising their voice which she in fact did. They put screen shots of the text messages but our interaction was over the phone, “ I wanted an answer ASAP”? I had been trying to get a hold of someone for a week already. I did not call multiple times, I called twice and responded to the automated messages and when I told her I did she said “ those are automated messages honey”, who speaks like that to a customer She wasn’t just short she was RUDE. Being “ busy” doesn’t give you the right to be rude to customers. She wants to stated dates and times I called which have been in the span of a week. She’s just trying to justify her behavior. Completely gross behavior from the managers wife.

What an incredible team here at PUAC!! Tim and Lisa were such a delight to collaborate with. They were the preferred vendor for rentals at the Claremont Garner House, and I am so grateful to have had them help us with my wedding reception! Tim and Lisa are honest, easygoing, and incredibly supportive. They were always available for a quick phone call, and very supportive when we asked to meet at their warehouse to view their rental options and go over our contract. Tim even went the extra mile to give us his best advice on the overall design (shapes/sizes of tables, differences in chairs, linen colors, etc). The team at PUAC was more than willing to help us stay within our budget, and equally as helpful and collaborative with arranging a cohesive layout for our reception. Drop-off the day before the wedding went by super fast, and pickup the same night of our wedding (due to another event happening) went off without a hitch. Everything turned out beautifully. Thank you endlessly!!!

We decided to use Pull up a Chair for our wedding. They delivered and picked up everything with ease, and communication was good. The problems we have are 1. They don’t offer refunds, just store credit. After reserving everything we needed and paying in full, we realized we didn’t need everything. We asked for them to take off the items we no longer needed and to refund us for those items, but their response is they don’t offer refunds, just store credit. Well, we don’t know if or when we would need rentals again, so it doesn’t seem right to hold on to our money when we didn’t use the products. Problem 2. We returned all the items, and they are adamant we didn’t. Our wedding coordinator counted each item individually to ensure everything was clean and there, but Pull up a Chair says we didn’t, and just charged us the extra fee anyway. Despite us explaining to them that we did turn everything in, there was no discussion about it, just charging us right away. It’s extremely frustrating to be charged for something we know we turned in. Due to their no refund policy and for charging us for things we are certain we gave back, we will no longer be using this company for future rentals.
