My fiance brought me here for our 8th anniversary last night! I LOVE painting. He does not so much, but our teacher Jenna was so good with breaking down the steps that he actually really enjoyed it and felt very proud of his piece. It was a really enjoyable experience. Jenna was so nice. They do have snacks and drinks there that you can purchase (and free water). If you're going in the winter time, it is COLD lol.
They do provide smocks, but definitely wear something you don't mind getting paint on. I didn't get covered in paint or anything but it can be a little messy. It's a really peaceful environment and everyone was really friendly. You don't get to pick the piece that you do, but you can also do your own thing which someone in our class did. It really was so much fun for a good price. We don't drink, we're "colorado sober" so this was a really cool alternative to a sip and paint.

Had so much fun at this experience! Definitely a must to do at least once, even if you are not a smoker it’s fun to do! The smoking room is away from everyone and the vibes are cool and relaxing! The instructor was so sweet and welcoming to me and my aunt! Texas was having a hurricane so I was in Denver visiting family and decided to see what this class was about with my Aunt. We had a blast’ will definitely be back when I’m in town!

I had a great time with my friend and met a few others from our class that night. The artist was fun and gave out plenty of compliments on my “work of art”! Would recommend to anyone and certainly want to do it again!

My daughter treated me to a fun evening. I really enjoyed the experience. My only observation is that it was down right freezing. A couple of small area heaters would remedy that situation. Other than that, it was a perfect way to spend an evening.

The Puff, Pass, & Paint – Denver class was an interesting experience, but not one I plan to repeat. Ultimately, it panned out as I had expected so nothing about the evening surprised or disappointed me, but I wasn't wowed either. Our guide, Cheyenne, was very sweet and she walked us through step-by-step what we were doing (which was much appreciated for a non-painter like myself), and continually encouraged the class to branch out and do our own thing, which I also enjoyed. The room was well lit to see what we were doing, it wasn’t too cold (I get cold often so this is always on my radar! Plus it was raining that day so extra points for not making me shiver!), and the place itself was very atheistically pleasing & cultivated a space to create!

I do have a few critiques however… For one, there weren’t enough seats in the smoking section (which is essentially a canopy with 3 walls strategically placed outside the building that connects the "smoking section" to inside), so some people were either left standing or sitting on the ground, which felt very high-schooly. And the lights weren’t turned on in the canopy so it was very dark (I took the 9pm class). Then, the class itself didn’t start for !45 minutes! past the set arrival time because the group was still waiting on some participants. Personally, I think there should be a cutoff time (i.e. 20 or 30 mins. past the instructed arrival time – again, ours was 9pm) to ensure the tardiness of others does not negatively impact all the other group members. The class didn’t end until after 11pm so that was frustrating to get out so late due to other people's poor planning.

Third, Cheyenne hinted there were bottles of water placed around the room, but they felt difficult to find - not necessarily hidden, just not obvious. It wasn’t until the smoking break I was finally able to locate some. Personally, I feel like a bottle should be offered to each person when the first joints are handed out (we received a joint up front and another one later at the smoking break, both appeared to be about half a gram). Additionally, the booking confirmation email states “Complimentary water and snacks will be provided,” however it appeared only water was free. Snacks were for purchase. I’m not sure if the “complimentary” only applies to the water, but it alludes to the snacks also being provided free of charge. Whatever the case, it may be less confusing it if read: “Complimentary water and snacks for purchase will be provided.”

Furthermore, I wish there had either been more dry time allotted at the end of the class, blow dryers available, or a warning your painting will most likely not be completely dry upon walking out the door. It might be common sense for people who take paint classes often, I just didn’t think I would have to deal with wet paint after leaving.

Lastly, I'll mention two contradictory complaints I overheard from other group members - Some attendees had no idea joints were going to be provided and either brought their own, or consumed cannabis products prior to arrival. The second more common complaint was how some members felt it was misleading that they couldn’t actually smoke whilst painting. Again, these aren’t my personal critiques since I understand Colorado’s Clean Indoor Air Act, as well as read the booking confirmation, which very clearly lays out the policies behind both of those aspects of the class, I just wanted to share.😊 Overall, the class was a fun novelty experience!! One in which I’ll mention in conversation, though not necessarily suggest, and will make sure to mention the caveats that come with it.
