My daughter who is extremely shy and uncomfortable in groups tried Jonny’s class to see if it’s something she would commit to. He was so welcoming and made her feel immediately comfortable even for her lack of experience. All the other kids were so sweet and respectful and his helper Josh really encouraged my daughter along. We will definitely be enrolling, she couldn’t say enough good things and how excited she is to learn more. Just by watching on the sidelines even I learned quite a bit. He knows how to communicate with kids, much needed in this area. Highly recommend!

Great place to train, Johnny is an outstanding coach and very personable.

I love being apart of his MMA classes, it has made me a much better and confident person.

The atmosphere is great and the people I train with are even greater, I seriously recommend anyone on the fence about taking any sort of martial art class to deeply consider being trained by Coach Johnny Puente!

My son has been attending Puente Jiu Jitsu for almost 10 months and in the meantime my husband has also started taking classes. Both of them love taking lessons from this program! The instructor does a great job teaching to those with all levels from kids to adults to all belt ranks! The classes are open and inviting to all! For the kids there is a great balance of fun, learning, and strength. It is a great experience for body and mind!

I have been attending Puente Jiu Jitsu for about 2 months. This type of class is way out of my comfort zone but I'm so glad that I gave it a try! The instructor is amazing at making you feel comfortable and working with you at your pace. The other students are friendly and helpful. Overall Puente Jiu Jitsu is a healthy environment, safe place, and positive space. If your looking for a Jiu Jitsu class I encourage you give Puente Jiu Jitsu a try. I'm positive you will not regret it!

Jonny has established an amazing culture with his coaching style and methods. He's been able to seamlessly blend lessons to match all skill levels and personal development goals in each class. You want to compete at tournaments or advance to MMA, not a problem? Have zero interest in those things, not a problem. Jonny connects with each person and understands the true meaning and growth of BJJ. He's also one of the best kid instructors I've seen. No way would I want to try corralling so many kids with such a range of ages, yet again, here he is doing it seamlessly. He's super patient with them and really pushes the personal growth side of BJJ and the benefits it adds to daily living and life skills. I'm excited to be a part of this so early on and can't wait to see his dreams and goals expand!
