This is an amazing school. From Mrs. Morales and the entire staff, and officers who greet you everyday are very helpful, loving, and caring. The curriculum is extremely thorough. I recommend this school to anyone who want their children to exceed. 👍🏻

I am a first grade teacher in this school and the curriculum is the most rigorous I have ever encountered in a public school, except for P.S. 187. (I would place both at first place.) Many parents travel from other boroughs to keep their children in this school. Staff receives a lot of truly helpful development and there is a high sense of school spirit and pride in being scholars instilled in the students.

There's no entertainment for the middle school kids. They don't do plays , dancing or music. kids in the school are bored. The principal rarely you see just in the beginning and then he's ghost. Don't let your kids in the school not a good school all these five stars don't believe it.

Where to begin? From the top to the bottom and everything in between. I had the best experience ever with this school!!! From the lovely Mrs. Chapman (NYPD safety officer) who pleasantly greets everyone who enters or exits to Mr. Hernandez who supports his scholars every morning by greeting them as so, "Good morning scholars!" The main office is full of caring, empathetic staff. Mrs. Morales, Mrs. Lopez and many more beautiful souls who stop whatever they are doing to accommodate your child's needs. Lexington Academy has one of the most involved PTA team!! Judy, Mrs. Cantor, Dia, just to name a few are all very caring and dedicated to the safety and learning of our children!! Working with them personally was a privelidge! Mrs. Ramos had to be one of the coolest art teachers ever. She let her students express their own ideas while guiding them with her artististic expertise. Mr. Alvarez, loved by all students! One of the best bilingual instructors there. Mr. Zamora, Mrs. Blakeman, Mrs. Kulig are just who you would hope for your children to have teach them. Mrs. Rodriguez in the special education department is such an asset to this school. They serious about teaching with that nurturing touch you would want teaching your children. What an AWESOME school!!! I would recommend this school to anyone who wants their children to succeed. I love this school!!!
