People are very nice at Prestige Portraits, however it’s been 5 weeks since my son had his REQUIRED yearbook photos taken here. We also had additional photos taken for his senior pics. Now, after making a second in-person visit to the studio (because you can’t call and get a human on the phone) WE STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED PROOFS! They said we would have the proofs “in about 2-3 weeks” and it’s been 5 weeks. The second trip there, the lady said there was an issue with the entire date of photos taken on June 13 and none of them had been sent to the lab for processing. She assured me I would get a call back to follow up either the day I was there or the next business day. Still nothing. No updates. No proofs. I’m going to have to make a third in-person drive there because that’s the only way to talk to them. Boone County schools needs to find a different photo option for senior yearbook photos. Customer service here so awful after the appointment!

I had my daughter's senior pictures done here. The staff is amazing! Tons of backgrounds to choose from. Professional pictures are beautiful. Definitely an art form and you can tell the staff enjoy their work.

Same awesomeness today with Tammy daughter that they had 20 years ago when it was me! They let her pick out backgrounds, help talk her though poses, they made sure she was comfortable and understood what the process was. She felt like a princess and a real model she said!! She was most impressed with the dressing room they gave her! She had room to do her make up, hair, and change outfits! Totally impressed by the photographer she talked at her level like a friend, not someone their to get a job done. Told her how good she was doing, how beautiful the smile was, but would also comment like you can do better or don’t get lazy on me- sit up straighter! She knew that these are pictures we will have hanging on our walls for years!!

I took my son here for his Senior photos. My son and I both really enjoyed the experience. They are professional and well organized. The front office and changing rooms are clean and well organized and the the photographers are amazing and there are enough back grounds and props to get just the photo you want. Great company. I would recommend them to everyone.

We had a great time here. The photographer took care to get the best shots possible and did a great job getting my teen to smile. I am very happy with the service and photos. There are also so many different backgrounds to choose from.

Staff was extremely rude and not helpful at all! The photographer didn’t keep me, the mother, informed at all. She had my son looking at photos she took of him. It looked like she was asking him to make choices so I walked over and it took me forever to figure out what she was asking him to do. I still don’t understand what she was having him do. My sons girlfriend was with us sitting on a couch at least 20 feet from the photographer and she rudely told her to wear her mask properly (it was resting under her chin) which I understand but the rude tone of voice was uncalled for not to mention the length of time waiting was making it uncomfortable wearing our masks. I was actually getting a headache wearing mine.He forgot his belt so I asked one of the ladies at the front desk if they had an extra belt and she said no, very sternly. After thinking a bit, I determined the only thing I could do would be to skip the change of outfit pose. So I went to a different lady (who happened to be the only friendly employee there) and informed her we could only do 1 change of clothes pose because we forgot his belt. She actually found a belt my son could use in an accessory closet they have. Then after the photographer came back to take him for his 1st pose, she would not even allow me to come back to watch the photo shoot. I had to view the photos on the screen of her camera when she was finished. Very unprofessional and rude. I have never felt like a second class citizen but the entire staff here (with the exception of one lady at the front desk) totally made me feel that way. I have NEVER completed reviews on businesses but I felt so disrespected I had to do this one. Very disappointed, a special moment with my senior was ruined....as if all the other experiences haven’t already been ruined because of COVID. Sad!

Had the worst experience. They came to my school and took my pictures. Not even 20 minutes later i was told my pictures didn’t save and they had to take them again. While sitting in a REGULAR chair waiting for my pictures to be taken, I asked my friend to take my pictures. Immediately the worker (older woman with brown hair) started snapping on me saying I couldn’t take pictures. This made my experience bad and I didn’t smile!!

Took my 2 seniors there for their formal portraits 6 days ago & no other customers were there. Check-in took slightly longer than I expected but she was very sweet. Kids changed into dress drape & tux get-up (tux shirt was pretty soiled) & were called back to studio. All this time other kids are trickling in & not distancing. Photographer was really good altho I wasn't back there with my son, I was busy with my daughter, & I'm not sure if she asked if he wanted some pics with glasses off & he said No, so she didn't, which was a REAL bummer...I sure wish she'd have done a few anyway just in case? By the time kids changed back and we left, there were literally 20-25 people crammed into their small lobby, some of whom had masks on & some who didn't. Btw, be SURE to check out the MANY pics on display to get some idea of what all they can do for the informal pics; lots of Very Cool options to truly capture your senior's personality! If I had the code to view their portraits yet, I'd add them here, but I don't have it yet. But overall, worth a $30 sitting fee per kid; will know more once I see photo prices?
