I had never made pottery before so this was an extra special experience! They flower vase pottery kit came with an adorable set of faux flowers and I got to make and paint my own vase. They have super fun videos online so I got tons of inspo from that. Pieces came out great! Love the mission. Love the sustainable materials. Awesome gift for friends!

The entire process was super seamless and pleasant because of the wonderful system that Sam has put in place to facilitate team building events for geographically dispersed teams. This was my second Pottery with a Purpose class. I can’t say enough great things about the Coffee Tasting + Mug Making Pottery Class that I attended with a friend! The coffee tasting portion was not only delicious, it was also super informative. The pottery class was relaxing and fun. Our teacher explained everything in a way that was easy to understand for beginners, which I really appreciated as a pottery newbie! My friend and I each made two mugs and have been using them daily. Also highly recommend their clay date night class for a fun night out!

I’m not a coffee drinker but attended the coffee tasting and pottery workshop with my mom who is. It was still really interesting to learn about the history of the coffees we sampled. The pottery second half was fun too but wish we got a bit more guidance at times or at least easier to get attention for help. I would’ve also liked the chance to paint our pieces or at least have a bit more options other than clear or white, especially since the promo photo for that workshop features different colors. But otherwise the overall experience was enjoyable and the pieces were shipped with care (more communication about when the pieces would be/were shipped would’ve been helpful though). And lastly I liked how we were able to bring home the kits so we can try it at home ourselves.
