Highly recommend! If you’re looking for something fun to do with your friends or S/O, this is the place. Went to a clay night and had a blast. The vibe was great and the instructors were so helpful and nice. My piece turned out even better than I expected!

I wanted more of this in my life, so I signed up for a handbuilding session with Maya. She was so generous with her expertise, and I enjoyed chumming it up with my session mates.

I was so happy with my session pieces, I just had to have more so I joined the studio as a member. Anytime I need to decompress, I’m here. The community is great, and I’ve made lots of new friends. I plan on taking more sessions to learn new skills, like wheel throwing. This is my happy place and a third space I turn to every week.

The experience was very nice. There’s a meditation before and the woman and her husband who showed us the techniques for hand building were friendly and fun. However, the website says to allow up to four weeks for our pottery to be finished which is fine except after four I called and the woman I spoke to said “if you haven’t gotten a text then it’s not ready”. When I told her it had been four weeks she was surprised and changed her tone stating that sometimes it can be four to five weeks. I was not notified that our pottery was ready until week six and that we only had that week to pick it up because they were closing for the month of September which I only knew because I follow them on Instagram. This is unfortunate because the experience was nice but this business needs some organization and better customer service.

My wife and I did the pottery throwing class (wheel) and had so much fun. The studio is adorable, welcoming and we had a wonderful date night.

They have a super cute patio out back to hang out before your class, with plants and incense going and trays of pottery to look at.

They have delicious hot tea for you and there’s also water. Definitely bring a towel and apron!

We will definitely be taking another class.

They have sound baths and will be having an eclipse party too!

The instructors are great and the classes are fun. My only qualm is that when they fire and glaze your pieces for you they don’t always do the best job. My mug was missing glaze on the inside and the rim of my bowl was chipped. I was excited to pick up my pieces but felt disappointed by the overall experience.

A welcome third space! We came for an after hours pottery class. The evening began with a sort of a "blessing" to creativity- complete with singing bowl. Beautiful space filled with the
work in progress of amateur artists. The class was too short (for me!) I would have stayed hours, but it was lovely- met some very nice humans at my table with varying degrees of ability. People brought wine, but the owners provide this delicious tea. Folksy music is played during your workshop - It was just about the most pleasant, fun, mediative way to spend a Saturday night.
There are things to buy but the place is designed for people who are exploring their artistic side with no pressure to do anything remarkable. Just kinda "be". Alone, couple or as group you will have an experience. It was awesome!

We went here for an evening of wheel throwing... Our first time doing this. It was so much fun. Some of us found it more challenging than others but it was entertaining to watch Erika try so hard. Definitely recommend!

The immediate vibes when I walked in were so inviting & warm & cozy. Incense going that smelled so great. I went for a date night/girls night & it was so fun! They do a quick lesson at the beginning of foundational things so you aren’t just sitting there clueless. It’s BYOB so that’s always great & they have lots of items to help you make your projects. A fun adult art class! I will definitely be back!! Thank you for the fun ladies!!

A big 5 stars for Pottery for the People, Lillian and Jane! I started with a wheel night for my mom, daughter and me for our birthdays. We had never made pottery before. We love it so much we did a 4 week hand building class and Lillian helped me learn how to make this. I’m so thankful and will definitely be back. Run don’t walk to check out Pottery for the People. ❤️
