I brought my car in for a state inspection here recently and wouldn’t recommend them.

They found two issues during their initial check:
Foggy headlights (which they expected would fail the inspection)
And a leaking radiator

They proposed the following services:
Headlight restoration $269
New radiator $2100
Thermostat $560

Even though I got my car inspected 6 months prior and the lights passed, since I needed the sticker I paid the $269 to clean the headlights. If I had more time I would have done this at home. Don’t let them make you think that cleaning headlights is worth this cost!

$2600 is very expensive for a radiator and thermostat, so I got a second opinion from a shop I normally would go to for repairs and trust and they were able to complete the service for $600 (parts and labor).

Take a look at the other reviews and you’ll find a familiar pattern. It seems they use a third party inspector, so it behooves them to find issues with your car and convince you to make expensive repairs. Overall they were a bit pushy, and their prices are very high. I’d recommend getting a second or third opinion before getting repairs done here.

The manager reached out to me by phone to discuss my review and was respectful. Regardless, I would still recommend another shop for state inspections and repairs due to cost alone.

This place is outstanding they're very courteous and allowing me to use one of their vehicles during the time that my car was being fixed I was very pleased with the service and and will be continuing moving forward if anything else goes wrong with my car I appreciate you guys you're awesome....

Back again to my favorite auto shop So many updates so many new things. The place looks awesome.
If you're unable to stay and wait for your vehicle to be repaired, they send a video to your email and given you full details, on what's wrong with your vehicle CRAZY!!!!! 🤯WHAT AUTO BODY SHOP PLACE YOU KNOW THAT DOES THAT". You're definitely not being taken advantage of..... If you have a vehicle, this is the place to go, And get it fixed I'm here right now, as we speak getting an oil change, and update ... timing belt is no good thanks to these guys, they just help me with avoiding a problem, like i need that!!!! 🙄if your a customer its cool that you receive coupons and other discounts promotions in the mail 🤑once you start coming here. I give them ten stars

I had an issue with oil leak from a previous oil change with Pleasant. After acknowledging the issue, the owner contacted me immediately and showed his willingness to fix the issue for me. I brought my car back to them a few days later and they replaced the oil pan for me at no charges. They also reimbursed the cost of initial inspection for me. The owner and staff were kind and gave me a loaner car while I was waiting. I really appreciate that they were very responsible for the issue and tried to make the best for the customer without any argument.

I have been bringing my car to Pleasant Car Care for a couple years now. Their work is always complete and their communication is forthright. But most recently, they went above and beyond: They suggested a one-year check of a recent brake job. During the brake check, they found a fault, and then offered and conducted a warranty-covered brake replacement. I would not have undertaken a brake check for several more months unless it was suggested to me, but Pleasant Car Care made the entire process as easy as it could be for me.

Charlie, Curtis and team were extremely helpful on a Sunday. They immediately pinpointed the issue (easy fix). The tire issue was resolved quickly and they were very pleasant. I would recommend them.

Looking for a local shop to get an oil change besides going to. jiffy lube or valvine chain. Called and the took me right away. Was welcomed by the manager Tim. Very friendly and courteous. Waited while they did the service. Kept keeping me updated on what was going on and didn’t try to sell services. Will definitely go back for my car care. Highly recommended Pleasant car card for a very pleasant experience.

Needed a last minute visual inspection of my car before taking the car on the road for the holidays as my car died and needed a new battery! Came here to get an oil change and they also offer a complimentary visual inspection of the car. Ask for Will! He was super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Customer service was 10/10 from him.
