I have been taking private Lyra lessons with Jena and they have been AMAZING! I have always enjoyed watching acrobats and cirque type shows and when I learned that this Lyra, something I’ve seen in shows and at festivals, was a thing I could just do, I was so excited!

I’ve wanted to try pole dance classes with Jena for 11 years. But I had just started CrossFit and wanted to wait until I was in better shape…then life happened. Now I’m 50 and have some tweaky stuff in my body. But I decided it’s time for something fun, challenging, rewarding, and empowering. I’ve had 4 private sessions with Jena and I’ve already felt all of this. I was upfront with Jena about my little aches and pains and she reassured me there is plenty for me to learn on and off the pole. All moves can be scaled back as needed and I’ll build strength that will allow me to progress. Jena’s studio is private, intimate, and a safe space for expression. I’m about to start the August series “The Art of Pole Dance” and I can’t wait to meet the other students who make up this community and learn from them too. I recommend Pin Up Pole & Dance!

I’m 20 with a lot of mental issues, and I need a service dog to be with me at all times. From the beginning of the process, Jena has been a genuinely wonderful person to work with and to communicate with. She was completely understanding of my service dog and my anxiety and issues. Jena has created a lovely space that feels open and peaceful as well as private. I signed up for one class and got hooked, and she let me try multiple different classes to see what I would love and like to work on. I honestly couldn’t recommend a better person to teach new people interested in learning because she is a delightful human being. She never once made me feel uncomfortable or awkward. I can't get enough of this studio! The lighting is perfection, the vibes are on point, and Jena is amazing!!! She will be your number one fan and root for you to nail poses and choreography! She taught me the foundation of pole and showed me exactly where to place my body parts so it doesn't hurt! I love taking classes with her on Mondays and also love renting the studio to reinforce what I have learned from her and practice! 10/10 would recommend to EVERYBODY!

Jena is an amazing instructor, and person in general. This is a safe space, feel free to be your true self here! I’ve gone to a few lessons and every time I leave I feel better about myself, I have more confidence and keep wanting to come back for more! Jena truly adapts to you and your learning style and speed. She works with you on your pole goals, and is super supportive of how you learn and you in general.
