Our 7 year old son has been learning to play piano for over one year now with Opus 1. Initially online, he is now meeting his teacher at one of the three studios. We’ve had a few changes with the schedule but have been happy with his teachers. especially his current teacher Kyle is making his classes real fun, picking pieces from our son’s favourite movies and helping him every step of the way.

My 6 yo daughter has taken piano lessons with Teacher Tram for almost a year and my 5 yo son has taken lessons with Teacher Chloe for about half a year. Both teachers have been so warm, encouraging, and very age appropriate in challenging my kids while making piano enjoyable. My daughter had especially blossomed as she gets more confidence and Teacher Tram has been helpful in letting me know when my student is ready for the next milestone (more advanced material, practicing independently, etc). My son didn’t have the finger strength at first so Teacher Chloe was flexible in giving a good mix of theory (which my son actually enjoyed doing workbooks!) vs keyboard work. Definitely recommend for young children.

Our teacher Effie is amazing. She uses different techniques incorporating music theory, hand movements and rhythm to make teaching dynamic and interesting. My son improved a lot over the past 3 months learning from her. Highly recommended!

My two kids, a 9-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl, have been learning at Opus1 for nearly half a year, and we wanted to express our admiration for the wonderful experiences they've had there.

Our 7-year-old daughter is learning under the guidance of Teacher Sici, who has set high standards for piano playing performance. She takes the time to correct and guide my daughter, measure by measure, ensuring she develops proper technique and precision. We're thrilled to see how much our daughter enjoys her classes and eagerly anticipates them each week.

On the other hand, Teacher Chloe has been an absolute delight for my 9-year-old son during his piano lessons. Her kind and patient nature shines through as she works with children. She takes a meticulous approach to teach music notes, carefully selecting appropriate textbooks that match their piano experience and skill level. My son adores her teaching style, and his excitement grows as he eagerly awaits her class every week!

My 8-year-old son has been learning Violin at Opus 1 Music Studio for over one year.

The teachers are great, teacher Kashmira is great. She is very strict and patient. She always pays attention to details on notes, and figure position which is so important for beginners. She always send after-class notes to me to help with regular practice. Teacher Sylvia organized the string ensemble class that we also enjoy a lot, it helps my son understand the importance and beauty of team works in instrument performance.

The school management is great. They are very responsive in phone call, message and emails. The recital is always so well-organized every season. Highly recommended this school to anyone who is interested in learning music
