If you are an adult looking for an art class, take any class with Jonathan as an instructor. He’s knowledgeable, a fantastic teacher, and a great guy. He pushed my art forward. His instruction alone made the tuition worth it.

My 7yo granddaughter's passion is Art. She is attending One River's Storybook Art Camp this week, and is having a great experience. She can't wait to re-tell the daily story, tell me about the Art games, and describe in great detail the process involved in creating their project! She loves her instructor, Amelia, and all the counselors! I can't wait until tomorrow, for the big Unveiling! This is a True Art School, we will be back!

She understands light, texture , shape and different forms of art styles. The teachers are all so wonderful, patient and attentive. Check them out , it's time well spent on refining your art skills

My child started here a little over a year ago after little to no progress in another program. Her skills and ability have increased exponentially. The staff and teachers are wonderful, and really strive to bring out the creativity at the individual level while giving them the technique and tools to bring it to life.

Up until today 5/23/2022 we've had a reasonably good experience maybe another star. We've changed which class my daughter was in once. We moved her to a digital art class from a cartooning class because they started doing cartooning using the sun through the window standing up. I'm no expert, but I don't think that's how it's done. Everything was going fine in the digital art class until I got a call on Sunday from the director saying they were ending the class. I said no problem I'd just come in on Monday and figure it out, she said great. So I get in there with my daughter to potentially select a new class. The person I talked to wasn't there, and whoever I did talk to didn't know anything about the class cancellation and just acted confused. Once she made it clear that she had no intention of figuring out what was going on, I just told her to freeze the account and really just for lack of a better option. My daughter is very upset.

UPDATE: 11/21/2022 Things just got worse over time. They increased the price twice, the second time without mentioning anything, they just charge the card without asking. Furthermore it's written into their policy that you're agreeing to an extra month of paying them beyond when you attempt to leave. This organization is the worst kind. Private lessons would have a similar cost to this racket.

We've had a great experience with the in-person camps and the virtual camps. We've also had a great experience with the in-person portfolio classes. The teachers and staff are very good at communicating. They are also very good at creating a diverse and inclusive community. The teachers have encouraged my child to feel safe taking risks artistically and to push themselves outside of their comfort zone. I highly recommend One River School of Art and its in-person and virtual camps and classes.

My daughter loves art so we wanted to find a place that could help her artistic creativity grow. One River definitely is that place. Shes been there for 3 years now and has learned so much. The teachers are phenomenal. Even when things went to online learning only, Ms. Emily did a great job communicating with her and making the online experience just as impact full as face to face learning. Thank you One River for inspiring my daughter and helping her fall in love with art more and more.
