I don't recommend anyone to take their car to Northside I took my car over to have him rebuild my transmission we agreed on a price he charged me 2000.00 wanted me to pay him in cash he told me to take the car and drive it i found the passing gear didn't work and he sent it out low on transmission fluid and i called him about it he talked to me like a dog and told me that he had all his bays full of other jobs. He took in then he was going on vacation I ended up having to take the car to Sheetz and have them go through and fix what he already done I don't recommend anyone to go to him I shouldn't have been thrown to the back of the line regardless he should have brought mine back in being I already paid chico for the job he charged me for why would I want to be talked to like a dog again not to mention he broke my distributor cap which I had to replace that should have been on him not me !

Called for car repairs, left message, no one called back. It's a week later and Google is asking for a review. 0 stars really, bad customer service when you ignore calls and leave someone stranded

I have an '04 Trailblazer 4wd that they rebuilt the transmission on 18 months ago. I've put over 30k miles on it since and still runs great! Nice down to earth guy, average price for great worry free service. I believe I dropped it off Monday morning and picked it Tuesday afternoon.
Pretty quick for a transmission shop. They were recommended to me by Ralph's Auto Service and a couple of friends who are mechanics at local dealerships. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I've always had a great experience with Northside Auto. Don & his team are some of the best around They are very knowledgeable and treat you fair. It's hard finding a mechanic you can trust. I can always take my car here and know he will fix the issue without gouging me for things I don't need.

Have taken our vehicles here many times and not had any problems. Took my car July 9th to have the air conditioning fixed and here it is August 7th with no phone call. My husband stopped in to check on it and was informed they didn't have time to fix it. Really 4 weeks isn't long enough, least you could have done is called us. Supposedly they had fixed it and the part was part was the first story we got which I know is a story cause that car has not moved. The brakes were locked up the door wouldn't hardly open and I had marked it to see if it had been touched and nope it had not. I will never return here and I will make sure everyone I know doesn't do business here. This is not good business. Will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau tomorrow.
