2017-2018 school year, my son took classes at this school. Initially, it was for a school project, but he enjoyed learning the art of ballet. Had we not moved states, he would have continued on at this school. Nikki and Edward were amazing teachers. My review is years late, but still valid. The experience created a lifetime memory.

New Orleans School of Ballet is an exceptional studio. Teaching here for the past several years has been a highlight of my dance career. Owner and Director, Nikki Hefko is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and caring toward both students and faculty. I have learned so much from this experience and continue to look forward to the start of each new semester. I highly recommend New Orleans School of Ballet to parents, students, and dance educators alike!

Fantastic ballet school! Nikki, the artistic director, is kind, patient, and very responsive to parents. Ms. Lauren has been my daughter's instructor the past few years and she is such a lovely, warm person. I would highly recommend New Orleans School of Ballet.

My family has been enjoying the many benefits of dance education at NOSB for four years now. I can’t say enough good things about the caring instructors, performance opportunities, and invaluable life lessons my children continue to learn about art, dance, respect, self-care, resilience, teamwork and commitment. Found the perfect place for my daughter: she's learning ballet and dance as an art form and a discipline (not some weird cheerleading style competition cult). . . she's high energy but her focus and attention have improved dramatically and she's excited about ballet and performing . . . the teachers and owner are patient, understanding, and very professional-- we've also enjoyed seeing her teachers perform with Marigny Opera Ballet. Definitely priced well for what you get.

My daughter has been a student at NOSB for a few years and we have been beyond pleased every step of the way. Not only does she get excellent individualized attention and training she is truly cared for by Nikki and every member of the faculty. In my opinion NOSB is peerless.

I attended my first class at this studio today and was injured when my foot slipped on their wooden floors during a pirouette. The other dancers and the instructor responded by informing me how slippery their floors are. In the hundreds of ballet classes I've taken at several different studios, I have never witnessed someone injure themselves due to a slippery floor, as this is something a studio typical finds remedies for.

I love this ballet school! The teachers are positive, patient and caring. The instruction is excellent. The atmosphere is friendly and no fuss. I highly recommend it.
