Museum of Creativity - Fort Scott, Kansas

My family and I were traveling through Fort Scott and found Museum of Creativity. My children ages ranging from teen - baby had a great time playing. Very welcoming atmosphere. They have a nice gift shop stocked with locally produced items.
I would definitely visit again.

A blast for your kiddos!! It’s always nice when you can find a place that entertains children without breaking the bank. That’s exactly what we found at this place. My five y/o had the time of her life, and there’s fun for adults to keep you entertained as well!

I don't know how they got past fire safety codes. Almost all the wall outlets and light switches I looked at, and there are a lot of them, had no plates.The "baby safe zone" even has electrical outlets without plates or baby proof plug covers.

When we first got there it was dark, I had to go around and turn the lights on myself.

Even though there were no other customers and the place had just opened it was a mess. There were kids shoes everywhere. A large bag of half eaten cheezits in the baby changing room along with more shoes to trip over. An open can of Dr. pepper on a table.
Toys strewn everywhere, nothing was cleaned up or organized before they opened. My five year old daughter wanted to clean and organize, even she understood it was a mess.

The bathroom is disgusting, looks like it's never been cleaned, and that includes the toilets. 2 of the 4 are broken, another one had been used several times and never flushed. There was a dried up paint brush on the sink. Paint supplies were by the door.

Stacks of things were everywhere. Tires were stacked up for kids to play on but if they did it would topple over. This place is dirty, disorganized and dangerous. I don't know how they are allowed to run a business out of here.

I appreciate the idea behind this business but the owners obviously just don't care enough to make it safe and clean for their customers.

If you take your kids here you need to watch them closely so they don't get hurt.

What an amazing startup! It's owned by a young family that truly is devoted to creativity and children and you can tell as soon as you walk in that it's a child's playhouse. They have Legos, model train sets and every scale, giant board games, Barbie dolls and scale dolls, a Ninja warrior obstacle, 3D printing and it looks like they're adding everyday. $2 for children $1 for adult, if you go by and visit them it's definitely worth doubling me ticket price the donation for the passion the family is put into this.

My kids love coming here and spending a couple hours just playing and being kids. Great place to go, especially as it gets colder.

While camping in Nevada, MO the day began a little too cold for our 2 year old. So we googled what we could take him to do. MoC popped up and we are so happy we checked it out!!! An absolute treasure for the very young to the very young at heart!! If you haven't checked it out, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!?

I would prepare younger children for the do not touch displays, because they are cool!! But the amount of options to play and do out number the do not touch.
